What you said could easily be taken out of context. People in here already flame others for using TT's. Therefore I figured you were trying to do the same. I can take a joke that is why I didn't say anything rude back to you. I just think its funny how some people (not you) take the TT thing so serious as if it hurts your car. We can leave it at that if that works for you, no offense taken on my part.

I've been researching how to get a Subaru rear LSD swap in our cars, but I'm not finding anything significant. It's pretty much, "Should've got an STI." haha I didn't want to be called a newb for not even trying to search for myself.

What be the input of my good fellows?

lol "teh aids" haha

*shrug* I don't know. I'm not sure why it wouldn't fit, but I don't know how similar the WRX and STI are at this point. R160 and all that jazz.

It's a vice of mine to want stuff that's stupid, okay? While everyone else is putting on hella horns, red stripes on their grilles, vinyl wrapping their roofs and fender badges, mounting rear fog lights, rocking 18x10 wheels, dropped on coilovers/springs and making 400WHP, I just want a LSD, JDM TS spoiler, front lip, sway bars and not to get $310 ticket for lightly tinting my windows, okay? hahaha

I drive around a LOT (26.5k miles on my car so far), so for me getting an oil change every 3-3.5k miles is ANNOYING. 7.5k miles is much more up my alley.

So far for me as follows:
3375
9591
13700
17147
So about:
3400
6200
4100
3400
I am not consistent, as long as it's between 3k and 7k I guess. I'll shoot for earlier rather than later, but whenever it's convenient for me, I'm not going to stress out about it.

Thats kinda how I feel about it. Aim for about 3500, but don't stop the world to make sure it gets done right then.

The R160 is a direct swap into our cars. DEPENDING ON THE YEAR. I forgot which ratio we had but the 06-07 WRX had a wacky FD so we can't use their rear diffs. R180 is my dream.. But it requires a bit to swap over:
R180 diff
Either custom DSS axels to go from R180 diff to WRX hubs
Custom Drive shaft or modified diff flange/drive shaft

OR

Custom Drive shaft or modified diff flange/drive shaft
STi Hubs
STi rear brembos
Wheels that clear brembos

Option 1 lets you keep 5x100 all around and is a bit pricey.

Option 2 lets you keep 5x100 if you use 04 STi components, but also gives you the option to swap to 5x114 on al for corners (with a higer cost for front pieces) which gives you better/bigger wheel bearings and gives you a MUCH better wheel selection, and Brembo's on all four corners.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
