Default Shiv coming to Town (almost like Santa!!) for ECUTek Dyno tuning.

Hey All,

Update 12/16/2002: Price 950.00, THIS IS ONLY FOR ECUTEK TUNING. Sorry No Uni-chip,tec's,Links, or any other EM.

The PRICE is locked in. This is what you get, Road tuning with the master of EM Shiv CEO of Vishnu performance. Dyno time for fine tuning aka A/F's and power readings.

The advantages of ECUtek over most other EM are

Closed Loop Boost Control (no adjusting boost ever again via MBC or EBC)
Full Stock Computer Safety (Knock retard if detonation is present)
100% of most reliable power your car can make with out compromise. (the Uni-chip can't do that)
Increase drivability (not even you wife will know)
No splicing, No dealer will void warranty (to a point guys)

On a stock car a 35hp at the wheel gain is very possible. This is great price. ECU reflashes run for 750 plus shipping and down time for your car. Now full custom Road/ dyno tune and dyno time for 200 bucks is unheard of.. This is a great deal.

So far I got

Alex (confirmed)
Myself WRBLUEWAGON (confirmed)
Savka (Saul) (confirmed)
Proturing 72 (John) (confrimed)
Danny GT (Danny) (Confirmed by Alex)
onesillyracer2k2 (Confirmed by Alex)
nqwan (Walt) (Confirmed)
EnforcerWRX (Dan) (Confirmed) [email protected]
sr20det91 (Jason) (Confirmed)
LehighWRX (Moe) Confirmed)

Dandbest (Confirmed) road tuning

WE ARE CLOSED FOR MORE PEOPLE AT THIS TIME, If anyone drops out I will contact the first person that could not get on the list. And it will go on from there.

Marry XMAS everyone!!!

My Very Best
Eric

awesome-good news, and put me down for a maybe, i got a few questions, if anybody can answer these, shoot.

Whens the date?
Whats the cost?

on my remap, can the boost be reset on my ecu and not have to use a abc? I'm gonna go over to ecutek page now, and read up more on it, i basically am a stock turbo'd wrx, w/bpm turboback, pde upipe, gfb pulleys, and soon to have samco int hoses, samco inlet hose, zerosports intake pipe, as well as a panel filter.

would it be more efficient to get a remap or continue w/my abc anf get a apexi safc? thanks all for your input

Hi guys,

Big thanks to Alex and Eric for getting the ball rolling. I'm looking forward to coming back to the home land Pricing is still yet to be determined since we have yet to price air fare and dyno rental. But I suspect it'll end up running $950 a car. This will cover everything: air fair, my food/lodging, ECU re-flashing, initial street tuning and dyno tuning. This is pretty much the same we charge for customers who drive in to our shop for our re-flashing/tuning service.

To keep things less complicated, I'd like to reserve all 10 tuning spots for ECUTEK re-flashing/tuning only. Unfortunately, this means we won't have time for Unichip/TEC2/TEC3/etc,. tuning-- all of which demand quite a bit of dyno time-- something that I expect to be a limiting factor with that many cars and only one day of dyno rental.

As for when, I'm thinking about late January. But until we talk to BMTranny about dyno availability, this date will be up in the air. Eric, Alex and I will be going over details over the next few days so I hope we can finalize the details by the end of the week.

As said before, to ensure that everyone gets tuned properly, let's limit entry to 10 people. I would also like to do initial reflashing and rough street tuning the day before the dyno day. This means that the dyno day will be reserved only for fine tuning and bragging-right numbers This will also allow me to troubleshoot any problems which may (and probably will) arise with certain applications without sucking up too much dyno time. Obviously, we're planning this event for a weekend.

Looking forward to meeting you guys!

Cheers,
shiv

Sure. Heck, I'll pass out autographed pictures of me in Speedos running on the beach with a concerned look on my face a la Hasselhoff.

And after you recover from being a witness to such a horrid image, your car is bound to feel much quicker.

Cheers,
shiv

Guys, I know that several people have asked about about different tuning services, devices, etc...

This will be strictly limited to ECUTEK reflashing of the factory ECU only and will only be available to the first 10 people that can reserve with a deposit.

Either Eric (WRBLUEWAGON) or myself will post further deatails as they become available. If you are seriously interested, please let us know ASAP. Thanks.

I already posted that I want in but I guess my post was overlooked.

Anyways, I sent you an email.

Any idea what day it will be on? I'd prefer it not to between Jan. 17-27 because I may be flying back to LA to visit family.

Thanks,
Walt
