Anyone use Casper Knock gauge??
Looks like a decent gauge for a good price. It was made go GN guys but it seems like the only thing you have to wire up is one for a ground, power, and one to the knock pin to the ecu. Just looking for anyone tha has ran one and people's opinions

seems to be made specifically for gn's
that may not work with the subaru electrical system/ecu |

I planned on doing some logging to seeing how much it lit up compared to the amount of knock i was getting....I wouldnt wait till all the lights were lit to let off

On the instructions it says it will work with other cars with a "ESC module"...thats just a ECU right?
Only weird thing i noticed was that you must tap the power source to a wire that does NOT have power while cranking. I always use the cig lighter/radio wires to install gauges...can i not use them? Last edited by Paul; 08-17-2009 at 09:32 AM. |
