Default Subaru Gear by LL Bean

or Who is this LL Bean??

If you've gotten your 2002 catalog like I did, have you noticed that everything says "Subaru Rally Team USA".. Didn't know that we had a US based Rally Team sponsored directly by Subaru.

You need to get out from under your hood once in a while

Subaru sponsored a team in the group N and open classes this year (production as well??) with Prodrive taking care of the race preperation and rally duties. They won the season with Mark Lovel driving a full WRC spec car for 2 or 3 rallies, and a "spicy" group A car the rest of the season.

I got that catalog today as well. I'm gonna get some stuff from them soon.

If you notice, the hats they show aren't the same as the ones we got @ Sno*Drift. Ours have US flags on the back and the website on the brim.

I haven't gotten the catalog yet, but IIRC it all seemed a bit expensive...

I do, however, have a SWRT ski hat. Gotta have something to represent.

It is kind of expensive, but is or almost is the same (depending on product) prices that LL Bean has in their catolog for the same stuff without the logos and it is quality stuff. *shrug* At least you won't have to go looking for vasoline just because you own a Subaru....

just a hint: go look at www.flamingoworld.com or other coupon sites. LLbean often has electronic coupons for free shipping, $10 off ,etc, etc.

The LL bean info I got also says that all the SRTUSA stuff is available from Subaru as well.

For those dealers kind enough to offer the infamous i-club discount, you should be able to get it a bit cheaper there.
