Is it just me, or does this sound like an explosion waiting to happen?

Want the speed of an STi but the insurance price of a family car? This is the deal for you! I have a clean titled 2002 Black Subaru Impreza RS with a hint of lambo green on it(part of trunk and hood). Brand new Kenwood door spreakers and the AppRadio for the Iphone. 5 speed manual(newish as of Feb 2012) It has a fully built 03 WRX motor swapped into it and has yet to be pushed to its limits because i have been driving it like a baby. Could have a a dual stage tune so at the flip of a switch you can have economy or full on race mode for the right deal. the motor has around 150 miles on it right now chasis has about 146xxx on it.The interior is also upraded it has 04 WRX seats and center console so none of the dumb "my cup holder is in the way of my E-brake" issue when you take it drifting in the winter anymore. Custom Crown Royal shift boot. The body does have a ding small dings in it It has around 415+ HP after this motor build was complete So lets go on to the stuff you really want to know about the mods!
Well to start this list off I have:
Brian Crower Forged bROD Connecting Rods
ACL Race Rod Bearings
Cosworth Main Bearing Set
Gates Timing Belt Kit w/ Water Pump
Cosworth Head Studs ARP
Brian Crower Stage 2 272 Camshafts
ACT Heavy Duty Performance Street Disc Clutch Kit
Walbro Fuel Pump 255Lph and Walbro Installation Kit
Subaru STi 2.5L Oil Pump
Aquamist HSF v3 High Flow Methanol Injection Kit with 52mm Gauge controller
AEM Water / Methanol Injection 5 Gallon Tank
Cusco Motor & Transmission Mount
GrimmSpeed Exhaust Gasket 7-layer 22% thicker then OEM (x2)
GrimmSpeed Uppipe-to-Turbo Gasket 7-layer 22% thicker then OEM
GrimmSpeed Turbo to Downpipe Gasket 7-layer 22% thicker then OEM
Manley Subaru WRX/STI 16pc Valve Springs
Manley Subaru WRX/STi 16pc Titanium Retainers
CP Piston & Ring Set for Subaru Compression 8.5
CP Piston Top Coating x4
CP Piston Skirt Coating x4
Large Front mount intercooler (TurboXS based)
TurboXS Blow Off Valve
20g-TD05 Aftermarket turbo (not installed currently)
Pro Sport Evo series gauges:
Evo Electrical Boost Gauge
Evo Electrical Oil Pressure Gauge
Evo Wideband Digital Air Fuel Ratio kit
Evo Electrical Water Temperature Gauge
TGV Deletes
Perrin sidefeed 740cc injectors
Dash clock gauge pod
Invidia Down pipe and mid pipe
TurboXS up-pipe
New Bugeye headlights
Yellow Fog lights
Blacked out Taillights
Seibon Carbon Fiber Trunk. Treated it for the cold weather so it wont crack
New power steering pump(have an extra also)
STi alternator
AC pump removed(still have it easy install)

NOTE: I WILL BE DOING COLOR MATCH PAINT FROM THE DEALER ON THE HOOD AND TRUNK AND TOP OF CAR SO NO WORRIES!!!!

This whole build as any car build was costly but im my eyes well worth it the car was ablast stock but now its just mind blowing! Im sure I have forgotten some things in the list but that is alot of info either way. The cons are passenger window is only controlable from driver side, windshield has a crack, and for some odd reason the Temp gauge on the dash with C and H on it has the needle stuck at running temp but that is why i bought the Water temp gauge. I will be posting pictures later today but i can send some from my phone if youre interested. Im asking $9500 but im open to OBO so shoot me a text or call Steve 410-858-7261 . If i dont answer leave a voicemail because im most likely working.

Yea, I'm not sure I would buy it unless the motor was broken in. He said he is moving to Germany...that's why he is selling it...

I believe that's the buyeye that sat outside of retraC Engineering for awhile.
If it is, it should be a decent buy.

Anyone looking for a low priced STI? If only I was in the market...

Quote:
I have a 2005 WRX STI for sale its the rare black with stock bbs rims. The car has 37,000 miles on it which is very low for a 2005. I love this car but I dont use it as much as I should cause I need a truck to haul my snowmachine and cant have both a truck and a car. Its a 2.5L Boxer engine turbo 315hp, I put aftermarket Perrin high performance headers on it which added about 5 to 10 hp and sounds great. This car is fantastic in the snow with its AWD I was extremely impressed even with out studded tires. She looks and runs great well maintained I clean the grime off the motor and clean the air filter every summer and winter and change oil regularly. If you have any questions about the car I am always available at 509-607-0236. I'm asking 17,000 OBO for it.
Is it bad that's the same price I sold my stock 07 WRX for with 5k more miles?

Called the guy and its a reconstructed title. It hasn't been in a reck but was stollen and found without wheels and a tranny so he sold it to a dealer. Not a bad deal if you want to keep it but bad resale.

Way to look into that!

If I was hunting for one (which at that price, hmmm) I would buy it to keep it. That is as long as there was a paper trail and proof of the work done to the vehicle.

I'm not a 'hater' in this incident. I just merely made an observation, posed as a question.

Your post read like an ADHD teenager who decided to Frankenstein a Subaru in his back yard in order to abuse it. Perhaps if you were to use proper grammar and spelling, as well as mentioning that it was built and tuned at a reputable shop you might not get negative attention.

But that's neither here nor there, I wish you luck with your sell, and future endeavors.

On Topic: Looks like the 05 recon STi has bumped his price up from $17k, to $18.5k.
