recent pics of the car below this boring mod list, I finally got a new built closed deck shortblock in my sti, motor didnt go, just low compression so I sold it. I have broken it in on all stock parts, even w/ a td04 on wastegate boost cuz I didnt have my old turbo. Its been hard to deal with that power trust me. Im just bumping my old thread, these #'s & times were on the stock clutch/block / no tgv deletes, and so on. New mod list below, SOON TO BE TUNED AT YIMI, once I buy my new turbo <-last part I need
PICS BELOW IN THIS POST 04 sti w 50k mi on chasis (java pearl black/ metallic gold) Turbo kit (piping/ exhaust) -Made by my older brother kenny here at our shop in Anaheim, CA (Area P Inc./Alliance Fabrications), Rotated 30r turbo kit, V-band -Garrett GT30 turbo w/ tial v-band hotside -Cat-less downpipe, up-pipe w/ HD mount to block, Equal Length Header, -Tial 44mm External Wastegate w/ dump tube (has perf core w/ muffler packing) -HKS Carbon fiber/ titanium cat-back (soon to be replaced w/ our own or maybe talk to stromung & get one from him) -Both a tial & HKS blow off valve, using the hks right now Under hood -braille 11.5lb battery -Cusco motor & tranny mounts -1 step colder NGK spark plugs -Grimmspeed boost control solenoid -ss braided AVCS line (oil-turbo)(Alliance Fab) -Oil catch can -TGV deletes (Alliance Fab) -Intake manifold port matched to TGV's Drivetrain -ACPT Carbon Fiber 1 piece drive shaft -Kartboy shortshifter & bushings on the way Engine Management/tunes & fuel -Accessport v2.0 w/ 6 maps (2 for each fuel 91,110 leaded & c-16) 1 cons, 1 aggr for each -Walbro 255 fuel pump w Power Enterprise 850cc sidefeed injectors -Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator & fuel rails w custom stainless steel braided lines & upgraded fittings Cooling -Front Mount Intercooler w/ reverse intake manifold -Oil cooler where old tmic used to be -Cold air intake, right behind fog light cover -Koyo Aluminum radiator (have aftermarket fans, but stock seem to work better so am running those) -Zerosports upper/lower radiator silicon hoses -160 degree thermostat Looks/Aero components -Seibon CF oem style hood/ w oem style scoop, & CF wingless trunk, -Zerosports rear bumper (05-07 sti style) -Vis/Zerosports 06-07 style replica w/ cf canards & splitters, soon to be whole lip & rear diffuser part of rear bumper -Darkest tint avail, all the way around (not windshield) -NRG CF wing for track (APR replica) -Works red durainium lug nuts Susp, Wheels, Brakes ,... -RaceComp Eng Tarmac 2 c/o's (600lb hyperco coils up front/500 rear) w/ Vorshlag Camber plates (all 4) -Whiteline adj. lateral links, tie rods,Roll center adj., steering rack bushings, 24mm adj front & rear sways w/ endlinks -swapped new style sti crossmember/ steering rack (quicker ratio) doorcards, center console/dash, hubs/knuckles/rotors/wheels/shocks -lug pattern changed from 5x100 to 5x114.3 ^^^swapped parts are 05-07 sti style, came off an 06^^^ -Cusco front & rear strut braces -18" Advan RG 2 wheels in 8.5 wide +31 offset (+53 is stock, 7.5") w/ 20mm F/25mm R spacers (for now/ just for flush look on street) -all fenders rolled & pulled to the max (aggressive flare)(AWDalbert) -Corner balanced & alligned at West End (darrin) -3.25 F/-2.0 R camber, caster 0 (no adj) and toe is 1/8th in (front) -2 piece slotted DBA 5000 rotors F/4000's R w/ hawk HPS pads, ss braided brake lines -245/40/18's (stock 08 sti tires), have a set of Hoosier R6's in 245/35/18(r-comps) Engine specs (2500k on motor, installed about a month ago) Closed deck shortblock w H Beam rods & JE forged pistons (99.5mm/ stock size) ACL Race bearings 1/2" ARP headstuds 11mm oil pump Valve Job Race timing belt ACT HD street clutch Supertech Ti retainers & dual valve springs Got 2 back to back 11.2's but got kicked out fo no cage here in socal (fontana) got a bunch of 1.60's, best trap was 127, best 1/8 was 99.49mph rt --- .655 60'---1.676 330'--4.736 1/8---7.258 mph---99.05 1000'--9.441 1/4---11.255 mph---124.80 On the stock Motor Car made 484.7whp/ 496.6 tq on C-16 w 27psi, on an aggressive pump map/91oct (23psi) it made bout 400whp, also ran an [email protected] on my 27psi map, & an 11.9 @ 127 on a 24psi map <-(phatron for saying inconsistant driving, it was 2 diff mapsw/ those diff times) w/ 1.60, 60's (stock clutch on street tires w/ 18's, camber was -3.25/-2.0) no launch control Mainly set-up to road race & compete in Time Attack, not too much a 1/4 fan with my own car, but love to watch Thinking about running aquamist meth injection sometime down the line YouTube- GT30R STI c16 launch Last edited by KB'izzle; 02-25-2010 at 01:33 PM. |
