Canadian Liar routinely carries Mobile1 5w30. I use that for both cars. Last time I bought it though, I got it from Real Canadian Superstore. It's a little cheaper there.

Who cares about 0w40? That stuff is too thin unless you're living near the artic circle. Our engines run hot enough that even a 5w30 is a little on the thin side.

the 5 represent flow rate and 30 represent thickness. so 0W40 should be for my car.

Hey kool go get it at mr. lube. They less oil seperate if you ask nice. And I guarantee they have 0w40 since I got some for mooshoo a month ago from there.

Or just go there for your oil change the one on main and second has changed mine 5 or 6 times so at least they have some practise on a car that's exactly the same as yours.

No, it represents the viscosity of the oil when cold (0) and warm (40). The oil you want to run would be ideal for an engine that operates in a very cold climate (the oil will flow pretty good when the engine is cold, minimizing wear), but runs very hot (the oil will remain pretty think, so parts get the proper coating of oil). In your car in this climate, a 0w40 will be very thin on start up, thus not protecting your engine very well, but then will be too think when it reaches operating temperatures, possibly hampering how well it flows. Exotic oil viscosities will not make your car run better – they are exotic for a reason.

Have a look at this page:

um....

so 0 is the flow rate, 30 is the thickness of the oil, wut part isn't clear or i said it wrong?

oh, may be should i say 30 is the weight of the oil, then it makes more sense to you?

i want 0W40 since, i want it to rev faster and still able to protect the engine.
i 100% doubt 0W40 would perform worst then 5W30, or 5W30 protect the car better than 0W40 does

hey justin, so you are saying Mr. Lube selling mobile 1 0W40?

actually i even went to walmart in US, but i still couldn't find 0W40 oil there...

so i bought some extended performance 5w30 instead. it claims 15000 miles or 1 year oil change, but i am not sure if it is true though.

Yep that's exactly what I am saying. Mooshoo asked last month the same question as you and I went over and got 2 litres for him it was for his 911/996. So yes they do sell 0w40 mobil 1. I guarantee it.
