with OEM cross bars on a 2012 wrx hatch, using Yakima frontloaders, will they clear the hatch when the hatch is completely open?
or will i need to mount them backwards to do so?

I haven't ordered recently but, in the past, they've been very quick to ship. I'd hit them up if you haven't already.

Finally got a fairing. That wind noise was brutal.

Now I just have to decide whether I want the Copperhead or the LoadWarrior first.

the theft is a reason that i'm going to have my winter setup be a little less theft-attractive...

i'm taking my two highrollers and putting them in storage for the winter. going with wider 58" bars, two king cobras that are beat to **** and soon to be stickered, and a big powderhound for the center.

was going to upgrade to a fatcat but the new fatcats are toolless removal. which... just isn't an option.

Can anyone tell me if the Inno fairing clamps will fit on the thicker OEM racks, or will i also have to modify like someone has done with the yakima fairing in the last page of this thread?

Just get more clips that fit whatever rack you have and adapt those to fit the inno fairing. Replacement clips should be about $5 each or so, not expensive I had to do that once on my Thule.

That last method while sturdy... seems a bit... silly.

I have oem racks on my wrx. As far as I researched the innos are the only ones that fit since ours are more oval shaped than the circular ones that are bough aftermarket.
I have the medium inno farring on mine.

I just read a review on amizon stating that it didn't fit someone's 2008 wrx OEM cross bars. He said he had the thick ones. As my bars are also from 2008 I'm concerned there might be more than one new model of the bars.

I know that some from 08-10 were the skinny ones, mine are much thicker, possibly over EDIT: just over an inch thick from top to bottom.

If the mounts work for your bar, do you think you could take a quick measurement. It's kinda hard to tell if your are the same size as mine from the pic.
