to LegionSpecter,
enkei wheels are pretty strong, i have never broken rims before even with nyc potholes so maybe I am doing something wrong.
OZ makes a few wheels as well, msw, sparcos, all are made by oz.
I finally picked my color, I was deciding between 2

Considering picking up a local set of the BBS RC's. The GTI/GLI ones. 18x7.5 +38. Any recommendations on tire size? Something like a 225/40?

all i said was nfsu2. not that the color was ugly. they are. its just the first thing i thought of was the nfsu2 powder coats. 75% of my childhood was that game. i havent figured out what color to paint the pisa wheels when/if i get them.

Really up close, less than 2ft you can see where the black under coat ran on a few wheels, but as everything has to be sprayed w/o fully drying I just kept going rather than stop and wait for it to dry.

2 coats of black, 4 coats of rustoleum color shift, 3 coats of 2part Nason urethane clear coat. Just under 4 hours total start to finish for 9 coats of paint! Highly recommend a real respirator

I think I will be painting my stock rims this fall when I have the tires unmounted. And probably my motorcycle too, but for both those projects I think I just going to use automotive grade paints, rather than rustoleum under with auto grade clear

I had never used a hvlp gun before (or any paint gun for that matter), and after spraying the clear, I am not afraid to do it again, rattle can doesn't even come close to the quality, and the speed is much faster!

Just need to find a good color for my motorcycle and factory wheels, probably will do the same for both as 2part paints are much more expensive

5th picture down you can see one of the spokes has a run on it near the hub, but i had to do some searching through all the pics. I also know what I am looking for, it is amazing the chameleon does a pretty good job of masking it.

is it winter again so I can put these on? (definitly jk i want to ride my motorcycle dangit!)

my clear still hasn't fully hardened. i should have left the heater going last night hopefully it will still harden now that i turn the heat back on and made a temporary oven.

seems better today, just in case i put the heat back on them again and will leave it on for another 3-4 hours (was on last night for about 3hours)
