Hey guys, if anyone is looking to trade wheels I'm looking for stock 16" or 17" wheels from the new Impreza. What I have are 17X8" Rota Slipstreams w/ used 235/40 Z1 StarSpecs. Wheels are in good shape. I realize this isn't the WTT thread, but figure it's a good place to advertise. PM me if interested. Cheers!

Kind of off topic from your post, but what flaps do you run and do you have any pics from the back?

Actually the side wall doesn't do much impact on the snow, but mostly what change is how large are the tires for better directional change as skinner tires dig better on a large amount of snow. The time you need better grip in the city during winter is when it is slow on an icy road. |

I absolutely love those Enkei ekm3 wheels - if I ever tire of my stock sport wheels, those will be the ones to get for me

That looks great! Where did you get them and how much do they weight? I will be shopping for wheels this winter (for summer) and want something that is as light as possible which will help this underpowered car move a bit better and better MPG's. Does anyone have any idea on stock Sport Limited wheels weight?

I think my stock Sport 17's were a bit hefty.
I'm on FRS/BRZ 17's right now. No complaints so far. |

The Sport wheels are 7" wide as well. The BRS/FRS wheels are the same size as the Sport ones, but just with a bunch of thin spokes instead of 10 fat ones. If you want wider on the cheap-ish, go 04 STI BBS's at 17x7.5 or 08+ WRX's at 17x8.

I think I might look into some of the Drag wheels, they are very light in 17'' size. I know BRZ is the same size that is why I dont really feel like that would be an upgrade even tho I think they look a bit better.

Some guys have ran 9's I think. I'm probably getting the 18x7.5 or 18x8 Enkei NT03-M's in the Spring. Not trying to be all beefy.
