Bumper majorly screwed up today!
Ok so I come out to my car after leaving my office today to find the drivers side rear bumper covered in white. So I proceed to rub it off only to find the a$$ hole completly scraped the paint off in at least 10 different lines at least 4 inches in length for each one. So now it looks like crap and I guess I'm going to have to get it painted so it doesn't start peeling off and all that other good stuff. I really wanted to bust the guys headlights out with my hammer, but there were way to many people around. Why oh why can't people first learn to park and second to respect other people's cars. Just because you don't give a damn about the piece of crap you drive doesn't mean everyone else feels the same.
So anyone know where to get a bumper painted for cheap?

Install your size 12 into his door. Then leave a note. Something along the lines of - "Since you were so kind in hitting my car, I thought I would leave you a reminder of the occasion. You're an ***hole!"

yeah believe me I was standing behind my car eyeing my tool bag with a nice hammer just sitting there and numerous other tools that could do some interesting things when applied to the outside of a car, but it was on a very busy street. I just can't believe the nerve some people have when it comes to parking I've seen it all it just sucks.

Was his car still there? I'd have waited on his ass. I'd have had police waiting too.. treat it like an auto accident. |

Wouldn't that technically be a hit and run?

Sorry to heard that Andy. You can still call the cop if you got his plate and the description of the car.

I don't believe in damaging other people's cars when they damage yours. Case in point.
I was down at school seeing a movie with some freinds. I took the time to park out in BUFU so that I can avoid any incidents. When I walked out, a two door silver stratus R/T parked so close to me that I could not walk between the two cars without my hips touching both. Obviously he could not have gotten out of the car without hitting mine. Sure enough, in a perfect arc with his door was a scratch and a ding. Rather than key his car or kick in the door like my freinds were egging me on to do, I deflated all four of his tires. It makes a statement but doesn't cause any permanent damage. (Unless he tries driving away on them). In that case, he would have damaged his car. Dings happen. I accept that. It sucks you have to get the bumper painted. My only regret from my situation was that I could not see the look on his face when he got to his car. Especially when he knew exactly what he did. Happy hunting, Jason |

yeah in the end that's why I restrianed myself from doing anything. I do have his plate number, but the problem I'm not exactly driving legaly here since I still have MO plates, driving linces, and insurance so I'm not exatly rushing out to draw attention to myself with the cops or my insurance company.
I guess it could be counted as a hit and run, but I'm not sure on that one and I'm sure I'd have to get my insurance company involved to even come close to collecting anything from the other guy so I guess I'll just eat it. What sucks is after seeing it in the better sunshine today it's worse than I thought. Oh well life goes on. |

yeah that does blow ass, but at least you know who did it. I was washing my car today and I noticed a huge chunck of paint missing from my front bumper, it was complete sadness. I immediately called my ex and asked her if she knew anything about it cuz i let her drive it once in a while. Unfortunatly she and no one else know anything about it. But, it does give me an excuse to get it painted along with the new lip and rear spats and wing...

This EXACT thing happened to the bumper on my Black wagon's rear bumper, driver's side...white streaks, and at least three long (3-6 inches x 1/4" tall) scrapes down to the plastic. I saw it coming out from work, but it must've happened when the car next door backed out. I've seen the car, and there are corresponding marks on their front bumper...plotting and planning...f'ing losers...
