Default Goodbye WRX, Hello......

Sold my wrx to a fellow member. He's picking it up next friday.

Paying cash for this....

http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...r_id=295362249

Decided I needed something bigger for hauling stuff. Gas mileage isn't a concern, cause I don't have a car payment anymore.

Can wait to have lumbar support, quality paint, no ricers trying to race me all the time.

Will miss the AWD, but I never really took advantage of it anyway. The 2-3 times a year it snowed enough to use it wasn't a big deal. I plan on getting snow tires for the winter for the truck too, so it will be all good.

May pick up another used wrx at some point in the future for a weekend/track car.

Yep, I just got rid of a Silverado that was loaded to the hilt for my wrx. I won't miss the "hey help me move" or the "hey, I bought this thing at the hardware store and it won't fit in my car". Congrats on the truck though, I was looking at Toyota Tundras before I got my Subie.

Had one of the first year new models. Air bags and seatbelts malfunctioned. Shifter got stuck in neutral (automatic) once. Had to be towed.

Good luck.

Meh. Its the same year as my wrx was, just a little more miles. Had it checked out by my mechanic and he found absolutely nothing wrong.

:shakeshead:

- Do not see any pictures (besides clicking on a link to a Tacoma that we don't care about) (none of Subie that is going GoodBye either)
- Member joined in 2004 but thinks it's good to post a thread in the "Member's Car Gallery" Sub-Forum..

I don't understand.. This should be in General Community or something..

That's a ridiculous statement. Every Toyota I've had experience with was a solid vehicle with little to no issues. My Mom's Toyota 4runner is going on 230k miles and running like brand new.

Tacoma's are solid trucks. Don't let these guys say otherwise.
I'll probably catch flack for this, but last time I checked toyota's were one of the most reliable cars you could by.

Here's my buddies Matte OD green-wrapped taco.

If I were to buy a truck, that's what I'd buy.

I had a 2004 Tacoma Prerunner with an auto and it was a great truck. Wish i would have gotten the 4x4 to do more off-roading, but for your purposes, it'll be a great truck. Check out www.ttora.com for all Toyota off-roading needs.
