Default Just wondering

OK question to all you lucky STi owners:

Just wondering, how do you set where the tach warns you when to shift?

I won't be getting a STi for quite a while but I am just curious.

Thumbs up little black knob to the left of the tach

it looks just like the odometer reset knob. however, if you turn it counterclockwise it will lower the warning, and clockwise to raise it.

you can also set the audible function to on/off with the knob during the second phase of setting the shift-light.

hope this helps. I"m still not broken in (745 miles) so the light started @ 4,000rpm, is up to 4300rpm and in about 300 miles I'll raise it to 6k, then in another 500 miles, the redline . hoo ha. can't wait!

Cheers,
Sean
