Default eh, maybe it's just a scratch..........

.........or not. yup, got my first dent/scrape. It's not that bad but it's gonna cost $650 to fix it. I was backing out of..uh, my own driveway and I heard a small sound and my car moved a little. got out and you can't see jack because I have to get up at 3:30am to go to work and it's a wee bit dark out! So I felt around the back right quarter panel and only some abrasive areas and didn't worry too much. get to work and...damn.......dented a little bit more than I thought. Any way the moral of this story is to drink coffee

Welcome to the club... my lack of coffee experience involved a cement pillar in my parking space. I was shaking my head all day wondering just how I'd managed to pull that off

I was in a hurry one night to get to a corporate event and backed out of a parking spot and swung to the right at the same time. I was looking over my right shoulder out the back window and didn't notice the MASSIVE concrete post to the left of the spot, that I clipped with the front-right fender and basically ripped the left headlight out.

Thankfully this was in a rental Sentra

Angry I been there already

I managed to mess up my car a little already. About 1am, backing out of a friends driveway. The people across the street decided to park thier black boat trailer out in the middle of the street that night. Didn't see it at all, *crunch*. Only did about $250 worth of damage the the rear passenger side corner of the bumper. Oh well, what can you do, it's bound to happen someday!

Later,
Ryan

It was the beginning of July and I went to a Mazda dealership afterhours to see if they had any of the new Protege Mp3's. I was in the new used car lot and I got out of the car to check something and left it parked with the engine running. I turned around to say something to my brother and sister in the car and noticed that my sister (14) had gotten into the drivers seat. I wasn't sure what she was planning to do, but I thought to myself "oh please dont put it into reverse ." Sitting almost directly behind my Suby in the blind spot was a silver Mitsubishi Galant. Before I could say anything, I watched as she moved the gearshift and our eyes met...I started to yell her name but it was too late. For some reason my sis had the car in reverse and tapped the gas hard enough to make the car lurch right into the back of the Galant!!!!!!!! My jaw just dropped and suddenly I felt a feeling that was a mix of shock, disbelief and semi-humored "i can't believe that just happened".

Anyway to make a long story short the Galant suffered a broken taillight and a very dented/scraped bumper. My Legacy's bumper had been popped out on the drivers side and had a nice big dent. I was lucky that none of the sheetmetal was messed up on either car. The following day my conscience got the best of me and I went up to Mazda and told them that I had backed into the Galant. They were surprised that someone came back....it seemed like it was no big deal to them. So I wound up paying $500 some odd dollars to repair the damages...oh well so much for honesty. My Suby's bumper is still messed up but in a very strange twisted way my bro, sister and I find some humor in that crazy evening.
