Default Official Post Dragon thread! 56k die!!!!

everyone post your pics and vids in here. I'm getting all mine up on my website, should have them ready by tonight.

What a blast! Saturday was a long but great day. I had never ran the Cherohala Skyway before, that is an awesome road! After the daytime Dragon run, my brakes were actually smoking...literally.... All weekend we smelt rubber and brakes. The gravel today was awesome, especially the 2nd gravel road we did with the drifting. Glad everyone had a goodtime, and got home safely.

Thanks to Matthew and Will for leading us around. Great to meet everyone!!

Steven

pics and vids soon.... Including Matt's wreck!

His hanger fell off on the skyway, and he was jimmy riggin it to go look for the hanger. He found it and putit back on.

As far as ive heard, his car was undamaged from that event.

Yes...the previous gravel 'event' had pulled the hanger back enough that the skyway run had finalzed its fate of loosing grip with its metal counterpart on the car...and it came off....but after It was put back on, no further incedents as long as I pushed it back up after the gravel runs....

and...YES!!!!!!!!....no damage!! Infact...im getting an est 30~32 MPGs from Sylvia to Charlotte to Asheville! 410 miles and still got fuel left in the tank!

Damn...its late...no pics from me till tomorrow.

Car is fine - at least as far as THAT event goes. It looks a LOT worse than it felt. Car handled perfectly fine on the way back, but I'm going to jack 'er up and check everything out tonight. Two problems with that maneuver - one, I was going a little bit too fast. Two, like a dumbass I stomped on the brakes when I realized I was drifting a bit too far. I think if I had still been in the rythm of the gravel I would have been fine. Oh well.

See the other post for the snapped off lugnuts story.

The guy kept going on the same roads we did. It was leapfrog. We saw him Saturday going towards Knoxville on 129 - super cool guy, he waved/flashed all of us. Then we saw him again several times on the Skyway.

He has multiple Lotuseses...

And I've said it once, but I'll say it again - that Elise is pure sex.

Hah. I keep watching that, and just going . I also keep hitting myself for driving like a dumbass. I actually think it helped my alignment (which was already bad) on the front...
