Sleepy's pics are the only ones worth looking at.. 90% of all the others are terrible cell phone pics. This is not a photographers thread

Well thats just a new level of anal. Sorry we're not all photographers; I guess I'll never post a picture of my car again, the camera on my phone clearly isn't worthy of NASIOC's endless greatness.
We drive cheap cars. For the most part, that means we have cheap cameras. Get over it. |

I think its safe to say I'll never pull out an SLR and take some nice pics. Why? Because I dont have an SLR, and probably never will. Thus, I guess I'll never post any more pictures--they'll clearly never be good enough.
OR You can understand the fact that some of us dont as much as take photography up as a hobby, yet have some capability of taking pictures with our phones or cheap point and shoots. I'd be willing to guess that said population is still very proud of its cars, and wants to share them with the rest of NASIOC with whatever resources they have. |

Yo why in the hell are you butt hurt man? Damn honestly, It too me a long ass time to save up for one and what not, but i still had a point and shoot before my slr... Keep shooting with your phone no one stopping you. There just stating there opinion thats all.

Ross, there's a difference between cell phone pics, which is what populates this thread, and the pics most nasioc users take with the typical point-and-shoot.
I have no problem with the majority of pictures most post, but it's those utterly distorted, grainy pictures people have been posting in here and accross the boards lately that are annoying. It's like seriously, why would you even post that. Now I realize it's their car and everyone likes sharing their car and likes feedback, we all do, but at least go out and get a $60 (yeah they're that cheap these days) point-and-shoot and take some nice pics. |

All I'm saying to everyone is it's more enjoyable to look at your car if you have a nice quality picture, they compliment each other. I never said you HAVE to have good quality pictures to post in this thread or any other thread.. people will just want to look at your car more if you took some time and put more interest/composition in the picture.

Come on man I'm trying to give people tips.. Once again I never said people have to post pro pictures. You can accept what I said as trying to help or argue against it for no reason at all.

These for start. I'm not hating on anyone or any car, I just don't like the lack of effort into getting a nice well thought out picture. I personally like looking at a nicely put together picture. My goal was to give some tips to make the cars and pictures more appealing.. you're taking it as a negative thing, as do most on this site lol.

Okay they might not have the right angle, a bit blurry, cut off part of the car but saying "Sleepy's pics are the only ones worth looking at.. 90% of all the others are terrible cell phone pics. This is not a photographers thread" isn't cool. It's like saying the others should just not bother posting their pictures since they suck. I understand you wanting to give people tips but people on here will continue to post pictures that are not appealing to some.. You just gotta deal with it and continue to give them tips but it pisses me off since it sounds like you are saying they should not post.. The only picture that should not be posted is this one (see below) which is definitely ****ty quality. All the other ones are okay. definitely not pro's but they are of their Subaru's and they love their cars! Okay. I'm done. Critique/give tips all you want but the way you say stuff on here is taken differently by everyone. -Jeff Edit: I'm sure jordanretro will say something to the effect of me sounding like an old angry grandpa or something... |

lolll @ edit. Nah I understand. I added the "" at the end of my first post to make it not seem like I was super serious. No one would post if it wasn't perfect quality so I'm not saying that. As I'm striving for a photography major I just get frustrated with some of the pictures that are posted. Didn't mean for the offense.

Geez, NASIOC is a bunch of ****ing babies. Cell phone's take ****ty grainy pictures, it's not hard to see. There isn't anything wrong with saying that a picture is quality and a ****ty one is ****ty. Get yourselves a tampon.

I could've sworn a gas station pic equals someone stepping back after they put the pump in and taking a quick pic. I mean I guess you could set up your slr on your tripod if you wanted to. Some of us just want to move on when the tank's full.
