If you were looking for something a little heavier Chris also makes the hybrid line, wish I saw this first haha.

It comes as a stubby but all you have to do it tell him anything you want to change. This guy posted here in nasioc on Chris' extremely extensive thread.

Wait so you installed these on your car I'm guessing. Don't you need a torque wrench? And a bottle jack to support the trans?

All I did was Jack each side up then put it on stands. Nah torque wrench isn't needed as long as u know what ur doing. It helps to be precise though.

Speaking of the resonator, I'm thinking of maybe seeing if I can get a custom midpipe with a resonator in it. My SPT exhaust is loud as f***!

Nah it's a 18' vibrant performance bottle style. I just remembered the SPT is 2.5inch so it wouldn't fit

Just bring the resonator to a muffler shop and have them weld on a gasket to fit the spt. (I'm actually not sure if this is possible)

Lol is it crazy raspy with the spt? I know a guy with a sti that has a EL and spt exhaust. Man, it sounds worse than a Honda x 100 haha but its just way faster

It's not raspy really at all, it's just a deep low sound. Very baddy. Search on YouTube for "2.5i SPT windows up", sounds identical.

Try the magnaflow with rallisport headers. When I'm going up huge hills and the rpm drops under load I can't hear anything. I have since learned to read lips hah

I personally recommend the magnaflow hp2 (hush power rebranded) its a resonator and muffler in one basically. It eliminated all raspyness my custom 2.25" exhaust had and reduced drone quite a bit. Just my .02

The SPT is a 3" exhaust! Not 2.5 :P

Correction, at least for the 5-door setup, the SPT exhaust is not a full 3" and will bolt right up to the 2.5i from the cat back. I have the 5 door SPT cat back and it is like 2.25" or 2.5" for the mid pipe up to 3" at the muffler assembly.

Straight piping is super cheap an exhaust shop should get it done for $50-100!

So I installed my flex innovations grounding kit today since I had some free time. It connected from the alternator-battery-throttle body- front of intake manifold-drivers side strut tower. Overall the car honestly runs a decent bit smoother. When I refer to smoother, I am talking about taking off in low rpm's. I've been "bogging" my car shifting at like 2k for every shift and no the car doesn't hesitate nearly as much. For $40 shipped I can't complain , just thought I would share my experience.

What's the best bushings to upgrade on 2.5i daily driver? Going to install a Rallitek F&R sway bars + endlinks at the same time.
