So I'm doing 93 first so no need to empty the fuel. But, I need to depressurize the system. So, do I unplug the fuel pump fuse and then crank it a bunch of times? I did this once for the FPR and I had a ton of fuel shoot out. Just want to make sure I didn't forget something.

This.

That's still going to happen. To try and minimize this as much as possible, you could pull the fuse and crank the engine over the night before. Then the next morning, start doing the injectors. It's not necessary to wait a day. But it should minimize the fuel leaking out.

Injector install did not happen. Miserably failed at the air pump delete due to passenger side being a pita.

Going to TAV next Friday for injectors. F it. YOLO.

Jockey,

I did injectors with a few friends and it took almost two days. Well actually about 8 hours start to finish.
We removed the intake mani fold and were able to do the injectors outside of the vehicle.

It was easy to do the injectors that way but you had to take out so much. If you haven't done spark plugs I'd do them at the same time. I also took the opportunity to put in a hard inlet.

Yeah, screw that noise. For a job that can be done for a fairly cheap price I'm going to pay someone. I just don't have the patience to donut myself. I enjoy working on my car and my friends' cars but sometimes I just want to drive without the hassle.

This.

He got discouraged with the Airpump. You have to either remove the turbo or cut out the line on the passenger side. The one thing Subaru decided to over engineer on the car.

It took me four hours from start to finish to install mine without removing the intake manifold. Definitely underestimated how much a pita it would be.. I know being a girl and having super small hands helped.. But it still seriously sucked! Not looking forward to doing it again tomorrow to install my new ID1000's..

My air pump has been long gone though.. I believe it's sitting behind my desk at work >_>

I'll get my lesson when we do WRX02FTW's injectors. I would rather learn on someone else's car. Yes I know this is not the Subaru owner's way but I just want to fill her up and drive!
