Default Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec

Hello All.

I have a 2006 Sti and have recently put on a fresh set of Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 255/40/17 and I am having a really annoying issue.

The car drove straight before the new tires, but now, it pulls to the right.

I had a very very reputable Subaru Specialist Shop in Gaithersburg do:

1. Checked all bushings and arms
2. Switched Half Shafts
3. Several Alignments
4. Changed FR Tire
5. Two different sets of tires and rims
6. Checked the brakes for dragging

and nothing changed. It still pulled to the right.

Only when the FR and FL tires were switched did the pulling stop.
I know the tires are directional, but this was just to see what happened.

Another shops told me:

1. Broken Motor Mounts
2. Frame Damage

Honestly, the motor mounts are fine, and the alignment is good, so I don't think the frame is bent.

Whats wrong with my car. Please helpppp.

He's not suggesting that they are bad tires. But maybe one of them is bad.

Had this situation before..the tire had "slipped" belts..Try and take the tire on the side that is pulling and put put on the other side.. If pulling to right.. take RF and put on LR then see if there is any diff..if so..bad tire
