Default Aem cai on 2009 wrx

Thought I'd just give my personal opinion on the aem cai. In my mind this was a great mod to do I've had it on for two weeks and its probably rained 6 of those days and no issues at all with water or anything else. A lot gave me a big power improvement went from hitting around 17.2 psi to gitting around 18 psi with my highest being 18.6. I kno I'm over boosting but still I love the intake sounds great so far reliable and good power upgrade that's my opinion on it

I have a feeling a wideband oxygen sensor would have a differing opinion, but you know that already don't you? I pray you do at least. If not, you'll learn a $5000 lesson.

So if it's tuned, why would you make that statement?

You're tuned but you're over-boosting? Something doesn't add up.

ots tunes are SPECIFIC and ONLY the parts listed for those tunes can be used without issue

this is one of this where the

moment when something on the order of $5k will have to be spent to figure it out

Couldn't agree more. I was hoping the OP would take a more subtle hint since you, and the others who have eluded to engine failure, didn't seem to get through to him.

So...what you're saying is that I can't slap an autozone intake on my Subaru and run with a Cobb flash? Doh! Why didn't anyone hand-feed me that info?
