[i swear!!]

as for the straps, they're laced to Soma clips, and they're wonderful - the staps themselves arent too soft, either - once im clipped in, theres no chance of slippage

and yeah - im a member, but im hardly active :/

I also have a Specialized Rockhopper w/ a rigid front fork as my winter beater. I figure I'll break it out this week since the Scalpel picked up quite a bit of mud on my last ride. No need to destroy my nice bike.

mods:
-1400cc big bore kit
-6'' extended swingarm
-vortex rear sprocket
-tiger tail undertail
-hmf pipe
-vortex lowering links
-nos nitrous kit
-heavy duty o-ring chain
-lots more

best time at the track is a 8.27@156mph on spray, rear tire wont hook up till the 1/8 mile. also needed to get my nhra license to run this bike

Dude, to run an 8.27 at 156 mph, you aren't spinning the tire at ALL, to run that fast with that little mph you are running a mid 5.20 in the 1/8 mile. To run a 5.20 in the 1/8 mile most people see high 130's. With your 1/4 mile ET you are only seeing mid 120's in the 1/8.

For all of that to happen, you must be cutting 1.teens 60 ft times.

Either that or you are completely full of it which would be the most accurate assumption. If I am wrong I apologize but I have been around drag racing my entire life and your numbers plain and simple don't add up. At your weight, you should be running 8.80's or so on the 1400 kit without the jug at that mph give or take a couple. To drop 6 tenths off that time is going to take a lot more than 156 mph though.

I have seen the video of it running a 8.56 on all motor but not Megliss riding it. It was the owner of the bike Jimmy. We call him little Jimmy. He is about 5 foot nothing and can`t weigh more than like 120 pounds. He can ride this bike like a mother****er. It is actually really funny. This is his street bike too. His drag bike only is INSANE.

I have a 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa. It replaces a 2005 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom before it which replaced a 2000 Honda Shadow 750 before that. The 1st Gen Hayabusa is still king in my book. Other bikes have come along that are faster this, more powerful that. I don't care. I still love my Busa!

Buddy of mine has an Aprilia Tuono 1000R. It's a wicked bike. Never heard a v-twin sound so evil as his bike.

Dolphin Overton: Great shots. That 1050 triple engine is an absolute blast. I would love to sell my Sprint, keep the Futura for touring, & pick up a Speed3.

Oh man, I thought you were going to say, "Because it's yellow!"

It's all good, to each their own. I've been happy with the throttle control. After all, BMW's been doing it with their cars for almost ten years. Besides, the only real problem is on-off throttle in traffic and this bike ain't made for that

I wonder how those sunglasses will absorb an impact with the pavement?

Sick bike, but I hope you now have some good gear to go along with it.
