Quick and dirty way to extract pdf files to word or publisher?
Anybody know of a way to get PDF's into an editable word or publisher file?
Previous guy made a manual that requires editing with up to date info. any help would be great!

I'm pretty sure you can't copy out of a pdf.

depends on how they made the pdf. Often times, it's impossible.
Some times, you can save as rtf, and sometimes you can copy and paste. If you have trouble doing either, just print it and find a scanner... |

You have to click on the 'Text Select Tool' in order to copy from a PDF. In Acrobat, look for an icon that looks like a 'T'. That enables the text select tool.

You guys are awesome.
RTF idea: Worked, but as you said.. messed up format! Copy/paste: worked same result as saving as RTF But good to know. Text select tool: Awesome! I might be able to use this instead of completely recreating it.... I only have to make minor changes. thanks Funker! You guys rock. Nasioc is like our own little help desk. Except here people actually know things! |
