Default TBE is on....alarm not as loud as before

i finally got my exhaust on and it does sound great. however i have another question. oh and if you care im in the wrond forum you can move me its just people get more feedback in this one. anyway, i reconnected the battery and the alarm chirp was significantly lower than on weds, when i changed the battery. on weds it was almost defening, and yesterday it wasnt really too noticeable. before tinkering with my car i dissconnected the negative side of the battery, i knew one side should be dissconnected but i wasnt sure what one and i didnt think it mattered. i didnt dissconect the alrarm horn either. my car starts fine and the headlights work, so i dont think i blew a fuse but could i have messed the wires up for the alarm working on the car? and also would it be safe for me to flash stage 2 base map? sorry if its confusing.

go stage two... now... have you done it yet? as far as the alarm, not sure how you could have messed anything up, maybe it was just where you were that made it sound louder or quieter.

no same spot. and whenever i push the unlock button i cant hear the chirp, i use to press it and i could hear it from about 100 feet away now i can bearly hear it standing right next to the car. i might get lost because of that. ill talk to the dealer when im in there for my oil change. i flashed the stage two real time map. i was scared i blew something and it wouldnt be able to flash but **** it, im going to flash stage 2 as soon as im out of school today. unless somebody tells me i messed up my car and don't do it until i get it fixed.

you mean by pressing the buttons on the key fob at the same time, if thats the case then maybe i was laying on my keys most the day but i didnt press them together purposley or by hand. but wouldnt that turn it of and not just lower the volume? and one other question there is a rattle coming from under the car it sounds like, towards where the downpipe starts to go up to the turbo anyone have this after there install?

Heat shield for the rattle.

Try this to turn the chirp on/off, see if it helps anything : Press unlock once, then press lock and unlock at the same time.

see if any lines are close to the dp, or anything like that that could be your rattle, as far as the alarm
