Yes, they do, but at about half of their normal volume. It's just a little chirp.

Thanks for the answer

This was the only concern I had about installing them. I was considering installing a toggle switch for this very reason. I live in an apt complex and didnt want to piss people off every time I lock the car. Lol

I was looking for a bracket similar to subimods brackets but couldn't find one. Anyone here knows who sells cheaper ones? I've been looking through the forums and google but no luck

I pretty much thought this same thing.. then 2 days after I got my wrx, someone did something stupid in front of me... I hit the horn and was soooooo emasculated by the horn... its horrible... it sounds like a geo metro...

needless to say, I will be doing this one soon....

My harness/bracket and horns didn't come with any bolts to mount the horns to the bracket. What size/kind/washer/nut? should I get?

Edited...And I'm an idiot for bumping such an old thread....

Nice job OP!

When I installed the horns on my '11, I just pulled my grill off, instead of the whole bumper. Personally, I didn't like the subimods harness. Good idea, but I prefer a cleaner look. I ended up tearing the whole thing apart and making my own harness.

Has anyone else used a Radio Shack project box for the relay? I've used it twice on hella installs and like the way it looks and I can seal the box with silicone.

question because I was planning on getting the hellas with the bracket and harness and I live in Maine. Could have issues with the relay if mounted up front. I wonder if one could plasti-dip the relay to protect it? Not the spray can stuff. The actual stuff you dip it in (stuff used for tool handle coating).

I would not use plastidip. Maybe try using liquid electrical tape? Or wrap it up and zip tie it.

ahh yes. That might work as well. When I order it up ill give that a try. Would rather not have to re-wire everything even though it is simple enough.

Does anybody know the spacing on the Subimods bracket? I will make my own bracket out of some steel flat stock, but want the same spacing.
