Wheel fitment for SH FXT?
I have a '10 SH on stock wheels and rubber, with Swift springs (.75 lower ride height) and I am headed into my 1st AutoX this weekend. I'm a motorcycle guy at heart and by practice, so this'll be a learning experience.
I have a local Craigslist guy selling BBS RS-GT 18x8 wheels with an offset of 40 for $1650 with Toyo Proxes 4 215/40/18 on them and about 1/2 tread life left. Is that a decent price (small bit or rash on one of the rims only)? From what I can tell, everything should fit without issue, but I haven't seen that offset before. I know that 45-48 is very safe, but would I need a minimal spacer, or will they work as is? All of the wheel/tire visualization sites say this combo won't work, but I think that's because they all list the wheels at 5x114 (this is a 5x100 set). I'm kind of in a rush to do this, since I will have to order some TSW Interlagos (19x8) or EDR9's (18x8) and have them mounted by this Saturday, which is cutting it really close. Thanks in advance!!!!:woohoo: ADDITION: This is the car, pre-Swift spring install, plasti-dipped OEM XT wheels (hiding some rash + testing the all-black look)
