Talking Mistaken identity

What has your SVX been mistaken as?

For me (in order of times of occurance):
-Mustang
-"A Mitsubishi"
-Integra with a body kit

Thumbs down

It's a shame when it happens but, A Ford Probe(older body style). EEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! That's the only mistaken identity problem I have ever had. The rest just stare and then ask "What the hell is that".

Most people don't know what the heck the SVX is, but a couple of friends thought:

"nice car, what is it, an acura?"

and my favorite,

"why did you get a pontiac?"

Go figure.

My favorite came from Bill Wagner who lives in Bowling Green, KY: "Is that the NEW Vette."

Greetings,

Isuzu...they don't even make cars anymore! But by far the best one...an Acura (not Integra) NSX!!! That made me happy. Most just ask me about the windows.

Yeah, one friend who got a ride in the car thought it was an NSX too -she freaked when she found out it was a subie!

Greetings,

Old topic but just had a new insult yesterday at a drive-thru oil change place...

On the INVOICE under VEHICLE MAKE is printed RENAULT of all things...

On the same day while at the local audio-video specialty store I found a young guy peering intently into the SVX...he was driving a late 80's Honda Accord with chrome wheels, extra-wide high performance tires, coffee can muffler and gold trim...I wanted to tell him that he could probably buy an SVX for the amount of money he has put into his Accord...but I didn't!
