Default Black 04 WRX Wagon

A friend of mine asked me to give his car a once over as he is thinking of selling up for a 2 wheeled fun machine.

Here she is after a wash and clay.

The usual swirls and muted finish etc.

Bonnet after stage 1 (I.P on green)
starting to see the real colour

This was after second stage (3 in all) the sun came out breifly so I snaped a couple of quick pics.

Just as I was finishing up the paint rectification the sun peeped out to give a tired boy a little joy!!

1 coat of OCW, anyone for metallic? :

At this stage there were still some exterior touches that needed to be done like tyres wheel arches windows & sideskirts but the heavy work is done. Oh yes and I did put the indicator side repeaters back in!!!

The tree that dropped leaves on me all day

More to come.......

All finished now and apart from a few issues I am very happy with the result.

Who's that dashing fellow with the camera?

Holy crap man! Can you come to my place and work on my black wagon?

Can I ask what you did and what products you used?

I plan on getting the winter off my car this weekend and would love a list of products that can make black look that amazing.

The owner took the time to paint the front but didn't do the rears for some reason?
