Not to mention the fact that his Baja isn't a turbo to begin with so it's not like he can just bolt in the engine and go.

50% less crumple zone space, for that extra jarring feeling upon impact.

I'm sure it stiffens up the feel a bit when cornering, I wouldn't do it thought.

Best mod ever on my sti. Works perfect on the baja as well.

Why is it the best? What does it help you with?

Do a search and others will say the same. Best suspension mod ever. Forces the coilovers to do the work. Does not allow the frame to flex. There is a reason that the STIs come from the factory with them (replaceable with stronger ones).

The results on the baja are similar with coilovers. Parts cost less than 20 bucks and it took 6 hours of my time to fab them up.

THIS is really the key here

Do you AutoX or somehow track your Baja? What kind of coilovers do you have?

Do you have a shot of where the bulkhead goes through the fender to the fuse box when it is all tucked up?

I am using a baja harness to do a STi swap in my legacy and i feel like I have an excessive amount of wiring and I want to see how it should be from factory if you have one that would be awesome.

thanks!

Ben

No sorry. What you see is what I got. The turbo wiring harness on the baja and sti are the same part numbers though.

Yeah, I have noticed that as well. There are 3 in my neighborhood that look pretty nice. I have never seen a modded one in person like mine though.

You going to the big nw subaru show in July? I will have both my baja and STI there. It should be a fun time. :-)

BTW thanks! :-)

the Baja handled suprisingly well on the track, only got up to about 70 though because it was during parade laps
