Hey just checking in to explain a little about myself:

Ive owned a subru since i was 15:
95 OBS:

But ive finally purchased and 03 wrx. First car ive ever drove with boost. i live in findlay, ohio but i purchased the car while i was in vacation in california visiting my sister. unable to drive it home due to time constraints i left it parked at her house till i can fly back out in may when my sophomore year of college is over.

All stock, except magnaflow exhaust 03 wrx:

Im soo excited i finally have this!! i know my way arounf N/A subarus pretty damn good but im happy to learn more about the wrx. i hope i can learn that here! i plan to keep my WRX mostly stock, maybe some cosmetic upgrades,,,, lip, wrx spoiler(maybe), Paint the wrx rims. i will DD this while i have my OBS under the knife while she recieves some boost!

Love that OBS, I'd like to pick one up as a daily... Sucks you had to leave the bugeye behind, but it will be all the more worth it when you finally get to drive it home.

Great find! That bugeye looks incredibly clean. You'll love it. No doubt about it. Subaru boost is the best kind of boost

I do love it!!! I got it home about the end of may and been DD'ing it around and it has been a very fun car.

Since being in ohio i have installed:
Invidia bellmouth catless DP
Koyorad aluminum rad. (old one cracked)

Soon to be added:
Borla uels
cobb accessport
different Axle back (suggestions?)
snow tires
Summer rims and tires

Thats all my plans for now. BUt they are always changing!!

I have a Vibrant turbo back exhaust and love the growl of it! But I think it is hard to mess up the sound of Boxer.

Sounds like a great purchase, keep up with the upgrades. Don't bother with the uel headers though they are a waste of money, you won't get much as far as gains and you will just lose a bit of low end torque

Thats what i hear.. i know i wont gain anything HP wise, but will it help out the sound. IM not trying to make huge power. Maybe just an axle back will help bring out the growl more?

Not my car.
Also, this video doesn't really show how low the pitch it has at idle. I will try and take one if I get the chance and upload it.

Noo im not really looking for a loud noise maker just more growl. once i get to mid range RPMs i lose growl and it starts to sound like any other car. Maybe im just too picky! hahah

This exhaust takes on a whole new growl when it gets into boost. It goes from a nice growl to a "HOLY SH** LETS GO" Theres one other one I think, unless it was you I saw. There's a couple pushing 450-500awhp I know of. A satin white pearl WRX and a 06-07 STi.

I loved my HKS catback on my old bugeye. My setup was DC downpipe/catless downpipe/HKS Hi power catback and a stage 2 protune. Loved the sound of it, no rasp at all, just rumbling goodness.
