I bought my open face one back in 99 from Solotime, came to $95 shipped.
I was down at Competition Motorsports last week, they have everything. Near the Rose Garden. 108 N. Page, N. Portland, 503.281.1579 Race Central I'm sure stocks all kinda of headgear as well, but I dont know where they moved to. Erik |

I believe a Snell SA 95 or M 95 is required... or last I checked (years ago)... probably best to get something 2000 or better now though as it will pass tech longer.

well isnt the new rating 05, and has anyone seen them? i would think they were available, and would make sense to get an 05 rather than an 00.

Info on the SA2005 helmets from the Snell website: Release Date - October 1, 2005 The M2005 and SA/K2005 standards will be officially released on this date barring any unforseen complications. M2005, SA2005 and K2005 decals will be offered to certified manufacturers after June 30, 2005 but units bearing the new decals may not be distributed until the release date. What the Snell standard ratings mean can be found here: http://www.smf.org/stds.html |
