Here are a couple shots I took post-washing my car the other day. Taken with a Canon T3i.

Got the wind deflectors delivered as installed. Didn't take more than an hour and looks great! Glad I got this over the weathertechs. Looks very slick and matches the body perfectly...but is it supposed to have a hint of purple tint to it?

How do those wind deflectors install? In the window tracks like the weathertechs?

2 clips on the deflector clip onto the door frame under the window rubber and 2 sided tape. Outside of the door

I also have the subaru deflectors on my car and there is a purple tint to them, so I dont think its anything out of the norm. I definitely prefer the subaru deflectors over any thrid party options because they just seem to fit better and have a sleek design. I have seen some weather tech deflectors that stick out to far from the body of the car IMO.

I gotta say that looks really nice, what type of bulb did you use because I think I might try that on my sport premium!

Hey guys,

Haven't posted in a while. I had this setup since last summer. Dropped on RS-R with Enkei RPF1's 18x8 +35.

Yes, lol. I had to roll my fenders. I don't recommend +35 on 18x8. I would say Go with +40. And i still rub sometimes on the left side when I have a passenger sitting at the back left side. When I hit a bump.

Camber on rear left is - 2.7 (if this was more, I don't think I would rub)
Camber on rear right is -3

Fronts are nice. A slight poke. No issues.

If I don't end up trading cars, I'll probably end up getting those RSR's. Still looks like the front sits a touch higher than the rear, which upsets me. May need to put butt spacers in the rear as well to balance it out.

Ghad it looks good! If it wasn't for all those issues I would bite your style in a second! Those rpfs look perfect in the 18s with the gun metal colour too. Good job on the look. Definitely best looking rim setup I've seen by far on our imprezas.

Thanks man!

You could do the same but not go with too aggressive of an offset and it'll be perfect! If I can do it again, I would have gone with +40 rather than +35.

Or if I had CO's rather than springs, this would have been just fine too since I can raise the height a bit.

As I'm still new to the rims sizing, a +40 offset will make the rim sit closer in, away from the body?
I'm definitely going to get some adjustable coilovers before I get new rims.

The higher the + number, the more "tucked" in the rims will be to the car. The lower + number, the more the rim sticks out from the wheel well; giving it a more "flushed" look.

Just something to keep in mind, apparently Subaru (I believe it's wheel-bearings) are really picky and don't cooperate well with crazy offsets.. I've heard that several times, and have always stuck close to the +48 on this car. +48 with and 8" width actually doesn't look bad though. I don't even notice how the rear wheels seemed to have a silly camber lean inwards anymore since installing these 18x8 +48's..

No mods (yet), but I love this car so much. Almost pushing 40k and it had ten miles when I got it almost two years ago.
