Default Fuel Leak? Should I get new fuel rails?

I started my car up this morning and it was leaking fuel around cyclinder#3. I've done some research on the boards and called nate wade. They said they are familiar with the problem and have done a few installs to replace the parts. The guy at nate wade told me about $60 for new oem fuel rails and rubber hoses plus a couple hours in labor. Should I get the oem parts or will they just leak again? Or should I drop in for an aftermarket fuel rail? Also, if anyone is selling a fuel rail kit for an 02 wrx let me know. I am really not sure what to do at this piont???
Thanks guys!

Also I am looking for a couple new O rings for the injectors to see if that is the problem. No one has them in stock right now.

You can go to Autozone, they have some. You will just need to take in your O rings to match them up. I order some a couple of weeks ago. I just haven't picked them up. If you need them let me know cause I ordered 8 of them. They are at Ogden Suby. Let me know

Keeping it and thinking about a V7 or V8 swap in the spring. Not for sure though. I just dropped 2800 on a new Alienware Area 51M Laptop. So there goes half of my swap.

Thanks mixup and snowman! I looked at it last night and one of the clamps going from the metal fuel rail hose to the rubber hose was a little loose. It doesn't leak now but it didn't leak when I got home last night and started it. Only when it sits all night and is really cold. I am not sure what to do. I guess drive it and see what happens.

Hey has anyone or do you guys know of anyone who has blown a head gasket on an ej20? I'm sure if I did my car would be smoking like crazy. When I was checking out my injectors and fuel rails last ngiht there seemed to be a lot of oily sludge build up around the top of the head and near the breather. Have you experienced this and also my car was low on oil and it never burned a drop until I just checked it? Any ideas?

if your head gasket is going bad check your radiator fluid(make sure the car is cold so you dont burn yourself). whe you look at the fluid look for oil to be floating on top of the Radiator fluid, make sure to check the turbo reservor and to radiator cap on the radiator....also the smidge might be from the oil comming out of the breather...do yo have an oil catch can? if you want to, i can take a look at it for you...just send me a PM and we can meet up....im intrested to see what is wrong w/ your car...

how mutch boost you running in your car? and how many miles are on it?
