Default Will Mackin Ind. or any wheel shop swap new wheels for different color?

Hey guys,
I recently bought some new gram lights 57c's in gunmetal from a friend of mine, but I sorta decided I wanted them in that metal bronze instead. Of course, my friend doesn't remember where he bought them or even if he has the receipt, so I was wondering if anyone knew any shops that would let me trade them (and even for a little bit of money) for ones in the metal bronze. Would Mackin even let me do this? Please, someone help me out if you can. Thanks.
Matt

How does he "forget" where he spent that much money. Are you sure he paid for them?

He's had them for at least a year and a half and just never got around to putting them on his rex and then he traded the car in. He knows what city the shop is in, just not the name.

Well, you know what I was thinking: you can get any color you want from Rays, so if I wanted these wheels to be painted that same exact metal bronze, would I have to ship them all the way back to Japan, or just take them to Mackin?

i'm pretty sure you'll have to ship it to Japan. if you want the same color, just get a bodyshop to color match.

I've been reading that it is difficult for shops to match the paint that is the Rays metal bronze... maybe I'm just screwed.
