Dear various people in Somerville,

If driving with your high beams on in traffic is rude, why do you think it's okay to do in town? I've been blinded by three of you in just the past week. WTF, is this a new thing now?

Sincerely,

The guy who can see fine with low beams

Dear second car in line at the light,

When the car in front of you is sitting at a green light, please honk at him. It's your job to keep him on point. I can't do it from three cars back.

Sincerely,

4th in line who wants to make this light

Dear ZZ Top,

You need to get your license BEFORE you can drive. So the next time when you pull out onto a main road in Cambridge, narrowly cutting me off, don't look at ME like I did something wrong. I'll be happy to point you to the word "Yield" in the drivers manual they provide to 16 year old children for their permit test. You might even learn something from it.

Sincerely,
Go die

This is very common in Providence. I figure they're the same kind of people as the ones who use HID bulbs in halogen housings.

I know I'm not from the area, but i need to vent.

Dear douchebag in the riced Aveo,
Right on red is fine if there aren't any cars making a left with a green arrow. I'm still wondering as to how you made that turn at such a high speed, and missed slamming into the back of the truck in front of me, making a legal, left turn. Learn what a red light means.

Dear bitch in the white chevy suv behind the aveo,
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT FOLLOW THE AVEO AND MAKE A RIGHT ON RED WHEN I HAVE THE GREEN ARROW. Thanks for almost slamming into my car. Go home read your drivers manual on what a red light means. Maybe you and the dick in front of you can pull together and form a study group about learning basic rules of the road.

Thanks a bunch for ruining my perfectly good day.

-Ajax.

Ps. Aveo, get rid of those stupid taillights, get off your phone, and watch where you're going.

Dear off duty police officer in the navy blue mid 2000's Corolla CE with license plate TCZ371 (You know, the save the children license plate)

I would formally like to inform you that when you are wearing your bright yellow POLICE DEPARTMENT high visibility jacket (or any other uniform for that matter,) that you are in fact representing Government authority. On or Off duty, you are a symbol in the public eye.

so for the love of GOD stop driving like an ass-hat

Cutting me off because you forgot that you were about the enter the HOV lane on 93 and having to go from 25-0 and put your car at more than a 45 degree angle to squeeze into the gap between my bumper and the next is UNACCEPTABLE. So is flipping me off when I beep at you for being the worlds biggest douche. I find it funny that you illegally change lanes without proper signalling in a reckless and endangering way, to avoid not travelling in a lane illegally. I would also like to remind you that texting and driving is illegal, the same way the Waste Management garbage truck did when you drifted into his lane while texting someone a short novel. Maybe it was your boss saying you were going to be late for your detail that I paid for. Also you have improper/defective equipment, as you have the left brake light out, and your ABS light is clearly on because those cheap wal-mart tires locked up faster than the cheap wal-mart laptop you bought for christmas

Dear Lexus suv driver on 24n fall river, tailgating me, and flashing your high beams to make me go faster or move, is clearly not going to work since there is tons of am traffic, but your awesome driving skills to pass me on the right and cut me off so you could be doing the same speed limit all the way to Brockton, but be one WHOLE car in front.

Please go fly a kite in traffic

Ps, thought it was hilarious when the vw suv cut you off the same way you cut me off

Dear UCONN campus pedestrians,

You're not good at being pedestrians. You should stop trying to get hit by cars. If that is not possible, please remain in your dorms.

Sincerely,
Guy who doesn't want to hit you but will if physics demands.

Dear stupid kid*,

When you're taking a left out of a parking lot, don't block traffic in the lane coming from your left. Especially when it's not even necessary. Whoever taught you to do a Rhode Island left should be shot.
Signed,

I will never, ever understand how people don't recognize that passing one car while in traffic doesn't get you anywhere any faster. it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Agreed. It's like trying to hold back a waterfall, but people continue to play Need for Speed behind the wheel. This allows them to reach their destination about 12 seconds earlier than they would have if they just went with the flow of traffic, with a much higher chance of getting dead en route. AND these people don't understand how driving habits influence gas mileage and therefore bitch about their cars not returning EPA MPG ratings..

exactly.

its equally as stupid and humorous(at times) to me when people in the high speed lane of the highway slide to the right and try to pass everyone, and instead get stuck behind someone and have to slam on their brakes and then wait until all the cars they just passed, pass them so they can move back over. then they do it again and again and again.

Happens all the time here! I held down the horn on someone doing it, they got nervous, and backed into the person behind them I probably shouldn't have been such a dick but they shouldn't have parked it across Main St.

Believe me, they deserved it. If they get freaked out by someone honking, they shouldn't be on the damn road.

Dear older gentleman in the Toyota Yaris,

I'm sorry that I unintentionally cut you off. I did not see you behind the 3 cars that were turning right in front of you. But when pulled up next to me at the traffic light and rolled down your window to yell at me, it was difficult for me to take you seriously with that fluffy, fruity, little dog on your lap. I apologize for not being able to contain my laughter.

Sincerely,

Laughing In The Morning

Happened to me the other day. Car in front of me on the ramp tried to merge and had a Canadian standoff with the car in the right lane. Slowed all the way down to 25 in a 65 when all they had to do was get the **** in the left lane and let the guy have the right. No other cars around, plenty of time and space
