Default Do you like your ECUtec?

I'm looking at purchasing a staged package from vividracing and they include the ECUtec reflash, I'm just wondering what people have to say about it.
Cheers

EcuTek is great. I suggest you search on vendors before you do anything. Vivid does not tune cars, so I question thier package. Aside from that do a search on them first.

You can get flashed ECU's it at half a dozen vendors. Some do mail some do not. KingPin does mail as do a few others too to look into. You can also get Delta Dash and this spring the user tuneable version is getting released.

ECuTek is a license. A tuner then flashes the ECU. I believe the COBB stuff is popular because people like to have something in thier hand as was pointed out to me earlier this year. With ECU-Tek you have no widgit in your hand. You do get a proper tune though. Picking the vendor is half the battle. Find a vendor with respected tuners, go there.

ECutek is great.. no complaints at all about it, but PLEASE... do yourself and your wallet a favour, and and look for another vendor to get whatever it is you need from. They seem to have a knack for screwing people over left, right and center...

KTR Performance in nearby Ayer, MA does reflashes. You can get a shelf map that they've developed or a custom dyno tune. My stage 4 KTR reflash has my car running strong after 40k miles. www.ktrperformance.com
