^ which model is that? I just got the AVH-X8500BHS and I can't stand that 'Mixtrax' feature, luckily you can turn it off.

That's the one I got! I have gotten compliments on it although I keep thinking I need to talk to con10der8 about getting something more aggressive.

you're the reason why i know the design changed.

EDIT: does anyone have the "ash tray" looking piece that sits on the top of the rear suspension? usually you take this out when you upgrade to coilovers. I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind giving them to me or selling me them for super cheap.

LMK!

IIRC you asked about an AC Compressor a while back, did you still need that too?

I bit the bullet and ended up buying a new one from Subaru. My original one lasted this long and still works technically (only clutch was leaking). Power steering pump is great too!

Thanks for asking

Default It's good to be back!!!

After parting ways with my 04 STi about 4 years ago and then selling the 01 2.5RS last year, I found myself yet again back in to the arms of another Suby and this time, I found a bugeye wagon! Something about that AWD and boxer rumble that keeps me coming back!

Soo clean really looks great! Quick question though, I know from my own experience, I used to have a 03 wrx and then I bought a 02 wrx. Even though my 02 is better in literally every foreseeable way then my 03 was, I always felt a little dumb on an investment point of view going from a newer car to a older car. So what's your feeling on that going from a sti to a bugeye do you miss the power or other perks the sti had? or even on a investment aspect any particular reason you'd go from a sti to a bugeye?

Never feel dumb especially if you're saving money! I definitely miss the perks of having a Java black 300hp 6speed beast, but definitely don't miss the insurance rate that came with it. I just wanted to get back into a Suby irregardless if it was the WRX or STi because both still gave me the satisfaction that other cars couldn't. When I see WRX's or wagons in the likes of KatioO's rumble wagon, I get reminded that with the right parts, right people and some $$$, your basic WRX can be set up just like an STi if not better. But don't get me wrong, I'd jump back into an STi in a heartbeat, but with certain things in life like kids and house notes, you learn to appreciate what you have and learn to make them better Here were my other 2 Subys...wish I still had the fleet
