Awesome photos. There was fog layer over here at my place. Looks like it burned off later in the day + you killed 3 monarch butterflies.

oh ur one lucky guy, i've been dreaming of driving up to buttonwillow myself and renting it out for a weekday. plus i want to attend racing school there....so yups. can't wait to see what MY wagon can do

and that's one sexy lil AE86, i was also thinking of doing the same thing and renting some flat-bed truck to tow my car in. i'd have to slap on the extra mileage and use up the gas to get there, plus put on a fresh set of tires

that is until parts start breaking down, and your chassis gets warped from excess cornering

man you guys are so lucky to go down to buttonwillow, i would kill to go there. all i need to do is find a bunch of guys to split the cost with me and i'm set...

and i dunno about the FAVORITE track, i'm pretty sure Laguna Seca has a special place in my heart but Buttonwillow is only like a 3 or 4 hour drive....Laguna Seca is WAAAAY down south.

kennyb- the wheels are advan RG's , yes i used to have red wheels.

The cage is a sti piece ordered from japan.. took me 4 months to get.. but it was worth it.

The videos i have is about 20 meg, someone host them for me.. hehe

buttonwillow from what i hear is a track who most ppl enjoy driving, we were driving the full course counterclockwise without the star mazda.

unfortunately i do not have any action shots.. when the tires was cold during my 1st lap, i somehow manage to bring the car sideways doing a 4 wheel drift.. i wish i had a pictures or video of that..

Us Wagon guys gots to stick together, but I think you have your directions mixed up. If you are in Cerritos, Buttonwillow is only a 2.5 hour drive NORTH. Laguna Seca is WAAAAY up north.

I tend to like Sears Point because of the elevation changes. And of course Road America in Wisconsin.

i agree, us Wagons guys do need to stick together. i'm tired of people trashing on my Wagon simply because the Sedan or STi is better. velocity meets versatilty!!! why can't they understand that!?!

ur totally right...i don't know what i was thinking. i dunno...been awhile since i checked the SCCA site to see where everything is still...i wanna try out that wicked chicane at Laguna Seca.

well in any case....cali has infamous traffic, so i doubt i'll get there in 2.5 hours. but still...i gotta make up enough money to rent the track out for a day...plus find a bunch of other guys who are willing to pay money to race. and ideally i was planning to get a flat-bed tow truck to bring my car there, and bring a fresh set of tires and tools and stuff. plus munchies, it can get awfully hot and hungry out on the track all day long.

but truly, Buttonwillow is the closest thing to heaven that i will never know

ouch...that's GOTTA be expensive. i'll look for something a bit cheaper. i don't care what kinda roll cage it is as long as it stays in place and doesn't kick my wallet's ass too hard. anybody know any good brands of roll cages? preferably one that's legal to have on the road as well...my baby Wagon is a daily commuter too
