Default MFactory Gears-2nd gear noise

Well coming home from work on Thursday I started getting a faint clicking noise in 2nd gear and by the time I got home it was very loud.

It reminds me of being on a roller coster going up the 1st big hill, clack..clack..clack...

The other gears seem to be fine.

Sounds exactly like this thread except I've never been to any track only a daily driver.http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...light=mfactory

Gears have ~1900 miles on them
Car has: 290whp/320tq

Called DS1 on Thursday and I'm still waiting to hear back on what the cause could be.

Hopfully, I will hear soon.

I got in touch with DS1 today and sounds like possibly 2nd gear or shifter fork is broke but won't know until its looked at.

They said to bring it in and they'd have a look.

Now I just need to figure out the best way to get it there.

Anyone know if a Honda Pilot will tow a car trailer and car?

I've towed a Camaro with a Chevy Equinox before , so you should be ok. It should say in the owners' manual what it can tow maximum.

I think it's only like 4500lbs including trailer.

Uhaul rents car trailers but they my not let me use the Pilot. Anyways I'd still have to get the install kit (trans and PS cooler).

Maybe Uhaul rents trucks with hitches?

It's well under 4500 lbs including trailer...it won't even hit 4000.

When we did it, it was with a Uhaul trailer, one of the open ones...just make sure you strap the car down very carefully and watch the front end loading/unloading it from the trailer.
