Default PA: 2005 WRX Wagon Needs motor

Available for sale is a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon with an "R" title via flood by a local shop, Huffmans Auto. I know the owners personally and I know the care and work they do to restore cars to original shape. The car was flooded in the rear and all effected things by the flood were replaced. Seats, carpet and anything rusted out on the undercarriage was replaced. Some ignorant kid smashed the hatch and there is about double fist size dent in the hatch, I feel confident it can be pulled, I just haven't had the time to deal with it. The car has 83881 miles on the transmission and body. The motor has a spun rod bearing and will need a new short block. Available with the car is an SPT Cold Air intake, Borla "HUSH" exhaust, 660cc fuel injectors, Comp Stage 2+ Clutch and ACT 9.6lb light weight flywheel. I can get pictures once I go back up to my parents. I live in Greensburg but the car is at their place in Normalville. Also, there are brand new tires on it. Less than 600 miles on the clutch and flywheel. About 800 on the tires. The reason I'm selling is because I rebuilt the car once because I ran the oil dry unknowingly and spun a rod bearing. Turns out the used short block I had bought from a trusted friend had one ready to pop also and I spun a bearing in that block the day I got brought it home. Feel free to text me anytime (I may not respond right I away. I work midnight shift and do online school all day before work once I wake up so bare with me if I don't get back to you right away) at 724 366 1229. I do have pictures of the car that was previously painted with Plastidip (an adhesive vinyl) but I removed it today back to original paint. Asking for 3500 Firm.

I wish you luck, this same car sells for 1500-1800 at auction. R-title with a Flood stamp really kills any resale on it.

And needing 2k worth of work doesnt help.

So it doesn't run, has a rebuilt salvage title and the entire car was painted with plastidip? I am honestly interested but at a more realistic price. Are you able to get pictures of it yet?

And that auction price is with a good motor, right?

OP, I think you're much better off parting this puppy out

yeah, thats my point. If the auction price you stated is for a car with a good motor, then what does a spun motor do to that figure.
