I have the 07 sti 6mt so 1 thru 3 are the same as the older usdm sti ratios. You think the 71 will spool the same as the 67? I really only autox my car but aany of the three should provide plenty of efficiency up to 8k rpms when I use it on the track

Aren't 2-4 different with 5 and 6 staying the same?

Took my EZ30r twin efr6258 for a drive today for road tune which will be for run in prior to dyno tune. Wow these are responsive, just love them and can't wait for the full tune. The H6 with these feels and sounds great.

bearing and turbine housing sections are WAY longer than stock location turbos of any kind, don't expect any stock location bolt-up designs.

I have one on a version 8 that was converted single scroll. It was totally worth converting single scroll (especially because I was able to sell all the stock twin scroll stuff for almost half the price of the full-race kit.)

Or you could use the twinscroll headers as a base and have somebody fabricate a twinscroll up pipe and downpipe. Though, that could be difficult to do while keeping everything else in the stock location. I'm sure full-race spent a lot of time getting everything to line up nicely.

if they had a stock location twin scroll jdm header up pipe to the single scroll i would drop the 1500 in a heartbeat but they only offer it to work on stock single scroll headers.

This turbo is vaporware. I was told months ago that it would come out in June. Asked to be put on the waiting list with Full Race. Communicated with them several times over the past few months. There still is no definitive date for availably. The best option at this point is to go with a comparable turbo and switch to the EFR in the future if/when these ever come out.

The sad part is that I don't think anyone is shocked.
Maybe they need a slogan "Because consistency counts"

Apparently you aren't familiar with how these EFR turbos work. I waited almost 2 years for my EFR 7670 twin scroll. If you are expecting to see these in mass quantities quickly prepare to be disappointed.

That being said, when I finally got the turbo I was blown away by it responsiveness. Almost worth the wait.

There is no comparable turbo. A t25ish garrette with a v band adaptor will be too long in the hot side. And nothing else will be a direct fit either. Nothing compares performance wise, the 6758 is a 450rwhp (420awhp) capable turbo that makes boost at the same RPMs as a GT2560R with an even faster transient response time. When I bought my 6758 (april) it was the last 2 available for retail in the entire world, with zero 6258s available new (yes I called asian, canadian, and european distributors trying to find one) until either june or september depending on who you spoke with. FullRace, Southeast power systems, treadstone, etc all told me I was **** out of luck until august to september.

Guys here is the latest on the 7163 -

-BorgWarner's official statement way back when on the EFR 7163 was 'availability starting Quarter 3 of 2013'. We interpreted that as the beginning of Q3 (July 1) but apparently they meant 'starting sometime in Q3' not the same.. BW assures me we are still on track for 'Q3' so its not far off

-7163 performance in the new larger a/r housing is so much better in all regards that it will not be released as a 0.64 (like was originally tested in this thread). Feedback from testers was they loved the prototype 7163A - which is why we know people are going to REALLY love the new production turbo

I agree - If you can't wait for the 7163, the 6758 and 6258 are a great intermediate step. Look at what Jager Racing is doing with a stock motor 6258 setup:

that is the truth - while we do have some of the EFR's in stock (twinscroll iwg 8374, t3s, etc) most of the popular EFR versions are still hard to come by

we are getting shipments every couple of weeks and if you are flexible on setup they arent impossible to come by, but if you want something thats not in stock its hit or miss how long it will take to arrive

Geoff I hope BW plans to have big stocks of these 7163s because the punters are champing at the bit .
Don't know what big G and the others will do if their latest greatest looks like junk by comparison .

Cheers Adrian .
