I took my car in for warranty work. They did the work however they screwed something up because a vibration developed over the next few weeks. I brought it back in. They denied my warranty work because they said my parking drum was not rusty and that proved I had been drifting the car!!!!! I don't drift. They eventually did the work after I contacted SOA. When I received the car back from them for the second time there was still a vibration, but now it was worse!!!!!! I took it back and they said they were too busy for me. I took it to another dealer and they said the replaced part was to blame.

that sucks sorry to hear...I would never have taken it to a dealer other then Mastro in the orlando area. There are too many fly by night subaru dealers in florida trying to make a buck on subaru's new found success. Trust me i know as i bought mine from one. BIG Mistake! Anyways for maint Try to stick to the dealers that focus on subarus. The Sport Dealership tries to dable in subarus as they are a mazda dealer too. Unfortunately these dealers dont understand how specialize subaru's are. Which leads to the type of problem you are currently having. In Orlando and Tampa Mastro is the way to go its a family business and they are the best in the state when it comes to subaru's.
Having said all that Ive never used the orlando Mastro dealer for maint as i live in tampa bay and use the mastro here (no problems here 5stars all the way) but i looked at a couple of cars in orlando and the sales staff was the best of the 5 dealers i dealt with while trying to find my subaru. And they have a poster that i believe works in the service dept under the Name of RexyGirl that is always around to help with problems. She seems to take care of stuff too. If it can be done she'll work for you. |

Hey Folks I would like to Share my Experience i had TODAY with the Don Mealy SPORT SUBARU of Orlando .
I Recently traded in my BMW 535i for a Bmw x5 at this dealer shipand was given 6 months \ 6000 miles warranty , from the first week we experience issues with the Headlights and the # 3 coil pack. There service Department is the worst i have ever experience, they will never call you with any updates on the vehicle, to get the Issues resolve we had to call Sales, speak to finance, they had us going in cirlce from one department to another. On sunday when i started the x5 i notice smoke coming from the enigine and a loud whistleing noise. Monday I called Sport Subaru , spoke to Service ( Patrick ) he transfered me to Sales ( Leon ) who then transfered me to Finance ( John ) who then transfered me to a Full voice mail box. I spend my entire day calling, Sale ( leon ) keep telling me that John is in a meeting. Finally Tuesday I called and Spoke to John ( he dint call back ), John told me that i have to take the x5 to BMW and get a full diagnostic. On wednesday morning i took the bmw to fields bmw winter park, Just after lunch the service manager called and emailed the issues with the x5. Today i called Sport Subaru to update them on what work needs to be done on my x5 and they said its not covered under there warranty. I told the General manager that i needed a copy of their warranty . When i got there General Manager ( Cristian ) gave me a document from another company warranty disclaimer, and told me he spoke to them for 30 minutes today and they dont cover the part that damage. I said i am going to call the company now, lets speak to them, Cristian said they are closed now. Then he told me to leave his office now in a very unprofessional way, saying things like " he can speak to me however he wants to " , " if i have a issue take it to the White house " . I was shock to see how this person as a GENERAL MANAGER behaved. what an arrogant and rude a**hole! I already filed a claim with the BBB, i need any advice that you all can offer towards this issue. The x5 is still within the 6 months . PLEASE STAY AWAY |

Well hold on to your HATS.. Boy do I have a story to tell you.
Mid April 2010. I was shopping for a Subaru WRX, Maybe a STI. I called for a few weeks around FL, getting prices, and getting trade-in values for My 2008 Si. One day I decided to walk in to Sport Subaru to see what they could offer. The sales were great when I was a potential customer. Worked it all out and needed to come back with the wife to make it all final on a car that was not even on the lot. One blue 2010 STI SE. I brought the wife back with me. We did do the trade-in on my Honda 2008 Si. I was told that the Subaru was on a truck and would be there on Monday. We did the deal on a Friday. I was also told that the deal was done and completed and they could not let me take my Honda Si, as it was now theirs. They offered me a Gallant a few years old to drive till my STI came in on Monday. This all seemed fair enough to me. I had worked out a sweet deal on the car, I put 3k down and my Honda had an extended warranty that I bought and that made me another 1k. I paid out the door 32k that was tax tag title. I thought I did very well. Mind you this was when they just started selling Subaru. There was not even so much as one Subaru sign outside. The wife and I drove home in the Gallant, all papers signed loan approved via my bank. I waited until Monday to contact the dealer about my new car that should be arriving on that Monday. Just to get a run around that they did not have the car, and they were unable to tell me when it would arrive or even where it was. I called again on Tuesday not as nice as I was on Monday to only get the same run around. I was getting nervous at this point as I am on the line for a 32k car for a loan to the bank for a car I don’t have from a dealer that seemed to be a fly by night subie dealer. I called again on Wednesday demanding to know where the car was. I spoke to the manager, Owner sales everyone just to get answers from someone. I got Promised call backs that they would just dismiss. It all seemed just way to shady. I finally told them I would not be giving the dealer a good review when asked by SOA. Things changed at this point. BUT not how you would think. I got a call back from the owner telling me to come pick up my Honda Si, that the deal was off. They would not sell me the car they had a week to cancel the sale since I had not taken ownership. I was in an outrage. I had my wife go back to them as I was way too hot at this point to set foot on location without getting arrested. Called SOA they said nothing we can do it is his dealership. CRAZY Right. SOA did ask if I wanted them to try and find another dealer to work with me at the same price of the original deal, I would not have to get a new loan as all this was already settled. I said yes. MASTRO SUBARU worked with the original sales price. I brought them all my paper work from Sport Subaru and drove away in my STI. Even Mastro had a tuff time giving me the car at the agreed price but they did do it. Thanks Mastro, Thanks SOA. SUCK it Sport Subaru… Last edited by filez; 05-07-2012 at 05:20 PM. |

I never "name names", so I won't call out the salesperson, but my gf and I were at Sport Subaru this past weekend looking to buy her an Impreza.
We test drove a Sport Limited Hatch, and she wanted to also test drive a base sedan because she didn't want some of the Sport Limited's options. They didn't let us test drive the sedan, and we were of course dumbfounded that we couldn't test drive a base Impreza sedan (if she wanted to test a STI I may have understood, but to deny us on a base sedan?). We left the lot immediately and she called to complain to the manager. Went straight to Mastro in Sanford, and a few days later drove away happy. Mastro is the way to go in the Orlando area. |

I don't understand the test drive issue. I walked into my dealer to see the WRX and STI. They even knew I wanted a Hatch and all they had were 4 door models. They still took two cars, 1 WRX and 1 STI out of the show room, apologized for the delay since they had to move several cars to get them out. I drove both cars and a week later came back to buy a WRX hatch that was coming in 2 weeks later.
