Hello everyone,
I recently just purchased a roll of Matte White and Gloss Black vinyl and am currently in the process of a complete cosmetic overhaul of my '11 SWP Sti Sedan. Between work and everything else i have going on it is quite difficult to get work done on the car. Slowly but surely things are coming together nicely. I will be posting pictures very soon of the progress. Threads suck without pictures so here are some stock pics to start things off from the day i picked her up Nameless was a must for the first mod... I was in the middle of typing how to, since i just dropped the headliner to vinyl my roof. then i realized yours is a sedan and mines a hatch lol.
But it is the same antenna, and it is held in place with a nut on the underside, you will need to drop the headliner to get to it (especially in a sedan) remove all the a-b-c pillar trim pieces, o-s*** handles, dome light, map lights, and sun visors. |

here you go
I don't pics during installation sadly. I removed the antenna, spoiler, and roof gutters, then tucked the front edge under the windshield rubber surround. there isn't an exposed edge anywhere. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Eric |

After receiving my gloss black roll of "flawed" vinyl, i was only able to get small cut-outs of the roll. So i experimented how the mirrors would look with the scheme i'm going for... Any thoughts? I'm half and half on whether or not i'll keep them gloss.

If your car looks like the one above then I say gloss the mirrors. I feel like it more complete that way. The all white with just alittle black feels like a mismatched "project car" to me. Needs alittle more balancing. I like the panda look.

I think your right... I'll be keeping the mirrors gloss black. Now hopefully they reimburse me with a whole new roll and ship it to me asap so that i can blend the sunroof in with this stuff.
Here's a couple before/after shots: |

I was honestly thinking the same thing when I thought about doing the mirrors because I still had my 06 2.5i up until a few weeks ago... But after I wrapped them, that all went away because it's very clean gloss black along with having the blinkers on the sti makes all the difference. In person it's a thousand times better

How much did the two rolls cost you, how much did you get, and where did you buy it? I like the look of your car.

Not cheap that's for sure! Pm me for details if you'd like to. I'm not trying to promote them publicly until I see some sort of reward from them for doing so lol especially after they screwed me over on the roll of gloss black vinyl I purchased and set me back two weeks.

Finally got the hood wrapped. Took me quite some time but that's just because i'm a perfectionist and wanted it to be perfect! Came out great. Here's a pic of it with the scoop on for color reference... SWP doesn't look so pretty next to it:

I love white it's super clean. When/if I get rock chips the white paint will be showing underneath so it will be less noticeable. I'm not gonna bother doing the door jams because of it. Main reason IS to be different. I don't want to look like any other sti on the road, I'm sure I'd be the only one in the state. There's too many swp subaru's in my city, so I figured I would take care of all the cosmetic things I want to do to my sti first and set myself apart from the crowd. -Beach |

Finally got around to wrapping the fenders! Came out very very clean. I may redo the passenger side because i cut the sheet short and was forced to do ALOT of stretching so i didn't waste material... we'll have to see in the sunlight if it makes much difference. I'm really excited to see the finished product! Enjoy:
