Sorry to be so late getting back to this, I actual found my slip yoke and rest flange the slip yoke is Spicer, and I will get a part number later today, as for the pinion flange in not sure the brand at the moment and also not sure if I bought it to fit the r160 or180 I will check all that out today and get some pics, hoping to have a steel driveshaft made soon guy said it would only weigh like 14lbs or something and would be I believe 2.5" so no tunnel mods should be needed

Even though the answer is almost a year old, it may help someone else. The answer is "YES". The differences between the STi driveshaft and the WRX driveshaft is the length. The STi transmission is longer than the WRX transmission, hence the STi version is shorter. They bolt up at the rear diff the same, using the same bolt flange and pattern |

@Seanathanq83 - Did you ever get the part number for that companion flange? I have the part number for the Spicer Slip Yoke. but I have an R160 rear diff and dont want to have to pull the diff apart to re-drill the diff flange. A PN for a companion flange that fits the r160 diff would be great. OR the bolt circle measurement for the r160 flange.
Thanks in advance. |
