I went with 3m 1080. I have never used Oracal but am very curious on how it compares! I have some Hexis aswell, but I don't like how Hexis Matte colors look. It's hard to describe, it just doesn't look as good as 3m.

Put the wing back on and wrapped the top gloss black to see how it would look... Not 100% sure if i like it just yet.
Then i got bored and wrapped my key remote matte white and did the back with Hexis Matte Black -Beach |

It looks so bad ass dude, it definitely sets you apart.. How difficult is it to maintain that clean look? Can you wash it normally?

-Spray down with low pressure water from pressure washer (knocks off the majority of dirt) -Hand wash with a bucket of Dawn Dish Soap, grit guard, and Fleece wash sponge. (Have to be careful to not scratch Gloss Vinyl) -Rinse with High Pressure water from a few feet away then follow with Low Pressure Rinse -Dry with Silicone Squeegee & Shamwow-type drying towel called "the absorber" from O'reilly's Auto Parts -Done... Looks as good as day one! Quote:

One more question for you, how long did this project take you? My sti is my only vehicle I don't mind taking some time and driving around with a half done car, but do I need to garage it till the whole job is finished?

Sick job came out nicely really digging the white, I just got done wrapping the parts I wanted done on my vehicle what a PITA lol. Also just wanna throw my 2c for anyone that sees this post so you don't end up in the same situation i did, if your car has been re painted ever make sure it was done correctly prep work etc, because I just had to deal with $800 dollars worth of repair because the vinyl ripped off my clear coat.

I would only touch OEM finishes with vinyl wrap unless I got a waiver signed that i'm not responsible! haha I'm really bummed that when I baked open my headlights yesterday I found out that the chrome ring cannot be seperated for paint I wanted to be the guinea pig for everyone and Plastidip the chrome ring and see how it holds up in the headlight housings! I didn't have the time to tape everything off and spray the ring so i just removed the chrome reflectors and left that task for another time. Oh well... What can ya do? Now I just need to get rid of that amber bulb! I enjoy cleanliness -Beach |

Call me crazy, but I like the chrome ring. There's a guy on here with a red Rex who painted the entire thing black. It looks stealthy but I like the definition the ring offers. Car looks great man.

Well i haven't put the headlights back in just yet because I'm re wrapping the front bumper today and it's just easier that way. Also ordered some replacement bulbs for the ugly amber turn signals! Should be in today! I'll hopefully get a pic up later on all put together! Can't wait!
