Christmas Parts!!!
Im planning on getting a few things for christmas for my car and i was wondering what would be the best 3 parts for my EJ25.
i wanted to know what kind of headers should i get? i already have a 2.5inch exhaust that fits onto the stock cat and i was wondering what kind of header should i get to get the most performance out of them. I plan on getting a pulley kit and was also want to ask what would be my best investment on pulley kits. and last i plan on getting the performance gauge pack without the gauges and planned on putting in my own gauges but would like to know what size are the gauges that fit in the housing? if anyone can help my i would appreciate it alot. thanks, Dustin

aight let me try to help you the best i can
1. as far as headers go you really only have one choice and that is borla headers, from what i have heard you really only get mild gains but the sound is incredible 2. as far as pulley kits go i have tried pretty much everyone and the best ones i have found is the GFB pulley kit, but there are others such as unorthodox and the like 3. for the guages the only size that will fit will be the 2 1/16 size guages but i think his is on i-club is derres calatano or something like that he sells a plate that mounts over and im pretty sure it will fit the 2 5/8th guages as well there ya go hope that helps Brian |

I will definitely back GFB here. I installed my kit (3 pulley set) last week and was surprised/happy with the results. Smoother/stronger acceleration and really smooth decceleration. Easy to install too.

you might also want to consider N1 lightweight pulleys too. those aren't as 'popular' i guess but they are only lightweight and not underdrive so if you wont have to worry about flickering lights or running high wattage from your stereo, if you're into that kinda thing. you should also think about getting a high flow cat too. when you put on the headers with the catback its gonna be like a rubberband squeezing the middle of a bottle. just my opinion. you can get a cat from summitracing for about 100 bucks or less or more or get a nice random tech cat, smog legal - 400 or so. anyways good luck and have fun modding, its christmas and your car deserves a present, or 3.

Both are in the $600 range though, vs some $300-400 for Borlas. Supposedly much better power though than the Borlas. Jim |
