I know I know... its mainstreamish, but this one was kind of catchy.

Ironically, it was a mainstream station. I was surprised as usually they are in a rut.

Nope, haven't bought the album yet, probably will with my new iTunes library.

Melancholy feel to the day for me. Some tough news.

Love this song and prefer this version. Especially today.

Yeah, Adele is amazing. My wife has been cranking "Someone Like You" Live in her home on YouTube for days. She has a powerful voice, especially for a smoker.

Tunes of the week for me is Dio. I was always into this sorta stuff and had to hide the cassette/album/CD covers from my Mom... Man, I had to hide a lot of my album covers from my Mom. Van Halen covers were mostly OK, but not much else I had in my collection. That's probably why my Mom thinks to this day that Van Halen was my favorite band. (it's actually ZZ Top, I always loved those dudes)

I liked Depeche Mode (depressed mode LOL) a lot in the VIOLATER days, mainly cause the girls always seemed to really like their stuff.

Never was able to see them live until they returned from rehab with the "Songs of Faith and Devotion" album tour.

One of the best shows I have ever seen. Killer lights and effects, PERFECT SOUND, and tons of HOT leather wearing HOTTIES. I mean HAWT!

2+ hours of great tunes. Even the band was having a good time, you could tell.

Every guy in the place got laid that night…..and every girl….. that wanted to!

Every time I think of Firestarter I always think of the Venture Bros. episode with the creepy underground followers of Dr. Venture.

I'm wondering if anyone has a rather large collection of grindcore/hardcore music that they would be willing to share with me. I lost my collection due to my computer going bye bye
And I had a rather large but also diverse collection of music, I've been missing it..
But at the moment that is the genre I'm craving.
So something along the lines of Dance Club Massacre, IWrestledABearOnce, ScaryKidsScaringKids, and the like. I'd appreciate it greatly.

I hadn't thought about the best (maybe the only) rock, hillbilly, surf, country AND western band Southern Culture on the Skids for a while, until they popped up on my iPod on random the other day.

I have about, oh, 830GB of ripped direct from purchased CD's music at very high bit rates on a data base I've been building since the mid 80's. It is wide ranging in it's diversity. There should be something in there you like.

Bring me a 1 terabyte hard drive and you will get 65,000 songs***8230;.free. I have about 60-70 good movies on it too.

I don't have any of those bands but I do have 1.06 TB of music you could pick from.

Sounds like we need a "music meet"

Reminds me of my infantry days. We would roll outside the wire, pull off somewhere under the desert moon, crank out tunes and guess which band was singing what song.

LOL we had those same kinda games.

I always won. I'm pretty good at that --- especially Pop Music from the 80s---now. If there was a new version of "Name That Tune" on TV, I'd make sure I'd try like hell to get on it.

Damn.. Looks like I'm taking a trip to Best Buy soon.
I definitely want to get as much as I can from all of you. I love all sorts of music, I don't really discriminate except against Josh Groban.. F that guy.
Plus I wouldn't mind having some movies on file as well.
