WRB debadged hawkeye with sti wing, a-pillar gauges, radar detector, lip, burton sticker on the top left corner of the rear window. Tint coming off the rear passenger side window. NB on I-15. I got on at 1400 N in Springville. We both got off at University. I went left you went right.

Yes! This is me. I read through all 17 pages of this thread to find someone mentioning my penguin sticker. So much more exhilarating than missed connections on craigslist.

Also, I'm new here.

Hah! That was on my birthday. I remember it well. I have posted in this thread like 15 times and this is the first acknowledgement. And welcome! If you live in Provo, there is a Utah county meet every Thursday night with some good local food. Check out the UC Meet thread for info on it.

I saw a SWP 2008+ hatch STI with the red tail light overlay heading east off southbound i-215 exit. The driver was a female with dark hair. really nice STi. Anyway if you're the owner of this STi please let me know how/where you get your overlay done? I want to do the same to my WRX once it arrives

That might be megs9. Look up blue bat overlays. They are probably the biggest name that I know of for the vinyl tail lights. I just used some krylon stained glass paint I got at michaels and some clear coat. Not removable, but saves some $. Kind of wish I would have done the vinyl because mine has faded a bit.

I saw bluebat thread. I was just wondering if there are other cheaper vinyl out there I can get. And you should be able to remove your krylon paint with goo off or paint thinner. You might have to refinish the surface of the lights though after you do that.

Right, but I sanded before, so it will need a to be refinished with some clear if I go that direction. It's on my list.

I have a wrx, but am in that area a lot... I have red overlays and got them done at top tints in bountiful for like $50
My boyfriend tried the blue bat or whatever overlays on my 08 impreza, and it was a major pain in the ass, and starting peeling off after a couple of months..

I guess that isn't you then cuz it was a STi. And nice to know that I can get it for $50. I'll have to look up that Top tints place. Sounds a lot better than paying $85 for a self install one. Do you know if they have other colors? I actually want to make mine light smoke.

Whoever was at airborne or works there tonight, I apologize I parked next to you cause we both had red rims and psm cars
I did not mean to set your car alarm off when I realized it was closed and started my car.

Spotted a WRB peanut eye with a SLCSubaru sticker this morning around 0800 going up Riverdale road. He jumped on 15N while I entered base. Waved and got the wave back.

i had my tail lights wrapped by envision in slc for $60. tyrel did my tail lights in about 15 minutes. 100% worth it to have them professionally done vs buying the diy vinyl kit.

http://envisiontint.com/ 801-864-7125
he does full vinyl wraps, tint, etc.

Oh cool! Thanks for the info. Is it $60 including the vinyl and the labor? Or do I have to buy the vinyl then pay him $60 to do it? I hope they do clear bra at a more affordable price as well.

Anyway I spotted a 2008+ WRB WRX sedan at the Harmon in the District last night around 7:30pm or so. The driver was a female and was with a male passenger. That color looks SOOOO good in person. So glad I ordered a WRB WRX.

To the blue Sti hatch on sr 201 that tried to let me know that my lights weren't on... Thanks... But they currently aren't working and I feel dumb and didn't want to blind everyone with my brights
