Default Stromung fitment question

I've searched all over this board with no results. I'm just about to purchase a Stromung SS dual-tip catback system from a vendor here on NASIOC, and I need to know whether it's recommended that I buy the kartboy/cusco exhaust hangers.

Should the fitment for the Stromung system on an 02 RS be good enough to just use the stock hangers, or should I get the aftermarket hangers instead?

Thanks for your help!

Stock hangers will work great.
Kartboy is all up to you.
I STILL have stock hangers on my exhaust system with no problems. I also have the stromung SS dual tip

Mine swings around like a limp d***

just a tip, make sure you order the exhaust for a '02, or else its not going to fit... I've seen this mistake made too many times...

Good luck with the exhaust, get the hangers, install, and enjoy

They come universal fit now. Karboy hangers are recommended to keep that can from moving.

Wow, *** is up with the beginning of the post now? Am I psychic?

Bleh. I guess I'll have to spring for the kartboys then. Anyone know of where to get them?

kartboy.com

order online, it's easy, select your shipping and pay....
They'll FedEx them to you if you need them promptly. They helped me out with my endlinks when I broke one(I broke the whiteline end link).

I had a Stromung System on my car for probably 30,000 miles before it stock hangers started wear out, and when ever I went around a 90 degree turn to hard the exhaust would swing and knock. I replaced them with polyurethane STi hangers. They are not as stiff as the kartboys, but still stiff.

My friend has kartboy hangers and you cant even move his exhaust, the STi's allowed a little play. You also have to remember stiffer hangers will transmit more noise/resonence into the cabin, most noticable on decel.

But that's your car speaking to you. You don't want to ignore what she has to say now do you?

I like the decel pops and mini back fires I get with my MRT header back and Stromung SS dual tip can.
