UTEC shows NO TPS signal NO MAP, and no air or coolant temps.
im having this horrible problem... Might it be a tuning issue? check this out... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8288796#post8288796
on my utec, a bunch of the readouts are errored or not reading... help..... ---MAP reading goes from -.7 to .9 and does so randomly. my map sensor is plugged in correctly ---TPS reads 130-133 percent, unless i unplug it, and when i unplug it, it goes to zero of course ---NO intake air temp reading, its allways at like 5 or 9 degrees ---NO cooland temp readout, its allways wrong. there are some other things that the UTEC is doing and im not sure if it is supposed to or not. (i have v3.1) on my fuel maps, when i enter ECU, to have something controlled by the ECU, and press enter, that value on the utec says -100... should it say this? another thing is, when im cranking, the UTEC readout says +30 degrees timing even if i change it to something else. also, when cranking, the utec tells me that every second or so, the #1 injector fires one time... its firing about 25% duty cycle, is this supposed to be happening?

Jared,
See my email. I'd like to send you a replacement unit so that we can remove the UTEC variable from the picture. -Nathan www.turboxs.com |

ok i sent the UTEC back nathan... you will have it on friday... I would REALLY REALLY REALLY love it if you were able to get a unit back to me by saturday, im willing to pay for sat delivery if you can do that. Im almost 100% sure that its a UTEC failure. I took off the UTEC, and on the bottom, of the board, there is a totally fried Little line, like a circuit or whatever. It seems that it is for sure blown or fried or whatever you call it. Anyways, i am also going to get an OBD2 scanner, and see if there is a cylinder missfiring, and if there is, ill get a new coil, then replace the plugs, and see how things work. Im also going to go to the stereo store, and pick up a bunch of really thick wire, and make myself a cool looking black circle ground kit, thanks for all the help everyone!
