Default Fresh Ideas for 08+ taillight

well, not sure if its considered fresh... but i tried. i bought some reverse/turn signal cutout finals and made this. its in the designing process, when i get the final ideas, then i'll mask it off and get it painted cause the vinyl was a PITA to put on. Let me know what you guys think :]

I'm changing the signal bulbs to red bulbs soon... and sorry for the rappy pix... its under raining condition and crappy cell pix

3rd brake light? ahaha, yeah i'm waiting for the rain to clear up so i can dissemble my spoiler to take out the brake light

From someone who painted the tail lights on my '09 when I had it, I have to say that I don't really like your tweaked version. Just my 2 cents.

How about red on outside like everyone does, but paint the center black with VHT nightshades?

well, i altered it a bit (kind of hard to see) but i feel it looks much better than the one before. (i feel it completes it) and with the chrome trim, yeah... i'm planning to get the replaced/vinyl/painted, but its been pouring

What if you took out the entire lower portion of the hatch part of the light? I think that might look better...

yeah I saw that too. The lines from the body mounted light to the one on the hatch do not line up at all
