Fresh Ideas for 08+ taillight
well, not sure if its considered fresh... but i tried. i bought some reverse/turn signal cutout finals and made this. its in the designing process, when i get the final ideas, then i'll mask it off and get it painted cause the vinyl was a PITA to put on. Let me know what you guys think :]
Normal cutout: Then we go into this: I'm changing the signal bulbs to red bulbs soon... and sorry for the rappy pix... its under raining condition and crappy cell pix Last edited by valkrie hunter; 12-11-2009 at 07:32 PM. |

Paint/replace that chrome bit before you spend any more time/effort on the lights.

From someone who painted the tail lights on my '09 when I had it, I have to say that I don't really like your tweaked version. Just my 2 cents.

Those look kind of like tail lights from another car but I can't remember what, maybe a Porsche?

Hard to say until you get the chrome painted or vinyled, takes away from the light work completly

What if you took out the entire lower portion of the hatch part of the light? I think that might look better...
